@Ewock you need to add the bag to your order Nd they take the price off

RJnomore1 · 04/10/2021 16:52

You need to add the bag to the basket for the aloha offer

It then looks like it’s added £8 to the cost but when you click through to payment it takes it back off

PinkJam · 04/10/2021 16:53

@Daisy829 very welcome Smile

Fetchthevet · 04/10/2021 17:01

Got some really pretty Christmas pyjamas for my 8 year old today. They were £8 in Asda.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 04/10/2021 17:20

Here’s a list of the actual chocolate they use to build the Cadbury’s house. I saw this before so might give it a go with my niece now.

JJ Whitley Pink Cherry Gin 1.75lt £35
£31.50 with 10% code - THANKYOU
Drop Store Gin

WildWomenDo · 04/10/2021 17:25

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth

We got the chocolate house x 4 last Christmas and to be honest I felt it was a bit of a rip off. I'd anyone is buying them for multiple children I'd advise getting one having a peek then buying bars the same for half the price. On reflection I was probably expecting too much but it literally is just bars of chocolate that you stick together with a mini bag of buttons and a mini flake, and a triangular piece of card that shows you the angle to cut the roof. If you used Aldi chocolate you could make it for 2£ max I reckon
I was wondering about doing a homemade kit, did the chocolate kit use melted chocolate or icing to stick it together? The gingerbread house kit I bought last year had soft icing which did not actually stick the bloody thing together.
psuedocream3 · 04/10/2021 17:29

Also following flavours all 1.75lt for £31.50 with code

Raspberry Russian Vodka

Watermelon and Lime Russian Vodka

If anyone wants to buy me a bottle for Christmas.... Grin

Does anybody have any tips on nice gardening books, I’m thinking one with examples of lovely gardens & ideas/tips but it’s for someone who is a decent gardener already so something that might inspire her with new ideas. Was thinking of a gardeners world subscription but I thought a nice book might be an option.

Also anyone any insider info on when Asda slots will be available for Xmas?

oatmilkisntsobad · 04/10/2021 17:41

@Thisisbatshit that sounds like a great deal! It was this portable fire pit that was recommended and I bought it when it was £17

We did our own version of the Cadbury house last year. It still worked out quite expensive as I bought the same bars as provided in the kit (the Xmas bars were from B&M if anyone wants to do the same) plus the Flakes I bought were in a 4pk when we only needed part of one, but it was still much cheaper than buying the kit. It will be even cheaper if you use Aldi chocolate like @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth suggested.
The instructions were on the Cadbury website so we just used those for guidance.

If one was thinking of building a fake Aldi chocolate house, it would be best to test it out oneself to save possible disappointment for the children… wouldn’t it? In the name of research.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 04/10/2021 17:59

Hawkins Bazaar has 15 fidget toys for £15 in pink or blue.

Thank you for the Next T shirt tip @RJnomore1... I'd have preferred the dress but can live with the cheaper option to save £14!!

BonnesVacances · 04/10/2021 18:15

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl

Olive & Sage have their £19 sale on some home & garden items, including the fairy houses which were popular last year - the DC loved theirs!

What a lovely site! Thanks.

For anyone stocking up for Christmas I went into my local Aldi today and they had lots in..... snowflake shaped pretzels, mince pies, Christmas puddings, Christmas cake and their amazing florentines. They also had ready to roll coloured icing in a set with a few colours which I'm going to use for decorating my Christmas cake.

Thank you! That's a fab offer. I've snapped one up for myself and a couple of gift subscriptions.

MydeamonsanOstrich · 04/10/2021 18:48

@GirlWithTheYellowHat
Thank you so much for the info. £5 is definitely a bargain. I'll keep an eye on Amazon in hopes of a repeat offer.

I hope your replacement unit is more robust 🤞🏼.

BeGoneDom · 04/10/2021 18:51

@TummyTurtle there's a deal to get a cheaper Ancestry subscription which I've used before but the info is in a Facebook group and I can't access it right now. Will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Ancestry DNA kits are really useful to match you with relatives who have also tested but I wouldn't have found that any use if I hadn't already researched my tree - if that makes sense? I know a lot of people test for the ethnicity results but they should be taken with a pinch of salt because they can't guarantee accuracy.

I'd recommend an Ancestry subscription this year and maybe a DNA test next year! Enjoy it, Genealogy is my favourite thing 😆

MydeamonsanOstrich · 04/10/2021 18:54

@Tinysnickers have you seen Diamond Heist? Same collaborative theme as bank attack and currently on offer at The Entertainer for £8.

Ninky Nonk Alert!

I’ve just been into my local Sainsbury’s and they had a Ninky Nonk train for £6 reduced from £12! I could hardly contain my excitement more for myself than my DD sadly, I bloody love In the Night Garden 😂 The Ninky Nonk is my favourite part of the show!
It’s in Tesco for £15 so it’s a pretty good bargain as far as I can see 👍🏽
