Cinnamon Buns the max you can buy is three packs per Prime user it seems and that's not just per session but in total.

I also got very short date (28/09/21!!) Joe&Seph caramel sauce so spoke to Amazon and they are replacing it

IggyAce · 15/09/2021 15:33

@Ihopeyoudance thank you I’ll take a look, that’s a very reasonable price too.

SBAM · 15/09/2021 15:42

@MissCherryCakeyBun I got an even shorter date on my sticky toffee sauce, 27th august 2021. I’ve got a refund but can keep it. Luckily it was only going to be a stocking filler for DH

Memo7 · 15/09/2021 15:46

If anyone’s got a spare pumpkin glass home bargains sweet jar or can get me one from anywhere I’d be really grateful 🙏 none in my local stores 😭

Thegirlhasnoname · 15/09/2021 15:49

@TheBestWhootersInWhoville

Lidl have stollen and lebkuchen in if want to get into the festive spirit right now. No mince pies yet though
Oh gosh. I had gestational diabetes over the festive period last year so hadn’t had any stollen (and DH found the box I had stashed for my hospital bag 🤬). Must resist popping into Lidl on the nursery run later… maybe
Shootingstar2018 · 15/09/2021 15:58

Another "not very Christmasy" bargain from me but my local Sainsburys had the Chad Valley Unicorn Shaded Paddling Pools reduced from £15 to £1.50

Huge Lego fans here.

I also recommend the storage bags for Lego, and duplo for that matter. We got the one from Wilko for about a fiver. Also drowning in Lego here. For a first try with building I'd go for a 4+ Lego city vehicle because they're fairly simple to build and have good playability once done. It didn't take long for my DS (4) to progress to bigger and more complex sets, and now we but pretty much anything. The only thing he struggles with are the technic elements in some of the more complicated sets. I'd also recommend getting an ideas box of bricks that have instructions for some things to show the kids what's possible to build (we had the 1500 piece one from Asda last year and it has some lovely ideas in).

And for any adult Lego fans, if you're struggling for ideas for yourself (and already have a velvetiser!) I got the botanical flowers for my birthday this year and they are absolutely beautiful in a vase on the shelf. I also got the aquarium that people are buying and it's fab!

Sorry about the short date Joe &Seph sauces (it was me that posted the bargain originally) - there was nothing on Amazon that said anything about Use by/best before dates when I ordered.

Mine are due on Monday as I've elected to try and keep the deliveries down to a minimum as much as possible so I'll check the dates and get straight on to Amazon if they're short dated.

Duvetflower · 15/09/2021 16:07

Speaking of Lego, my kids don't like kits and just like the classic bricks and their imaginations. I've been buying 2nd hand lego on ebay by the kilo. To make it extra Christmassy I spent an hour in front of the TV sorting it into different colours, so they've each got a big bag of bricks in their favourite colour for their stockings.

PinkJam · 15/09/2021 16:20

The Wishing Chair collection: Books 1-3 paperback are reduced to £4 on Amazon.

Silversun83 · 15/09/2021 16:35

www.365games.co.uk seems to be predominantly video games, but also has a selection of other toys and games.

Got this Playmobil playground set for £31.99 (£40 on Amazon).

www.365games.co.uk/playsets/playmobil-city-life-childrenand039s-playground-set

Got various bits and pieces in their clearance section.

Also free delivery.

I ordered last night and have just received a notification to say it's been dispatched. I haven't ordered from them before but have good reviews on Trustpilot.

DinosaurOfFire · 15/09/2021 16:38

I'm absolutely gutted about the short dates. They've refunded and told me to keep and enjoy my four jars, and to order more closer to Christmas. Thing is, tomorrow is closer to Christmas. And I've already got four jars....

I got my Jo & Seph sauce yesterday, I'd read somewhere that they were short dated, but couldn't find it. Anyway my one was dated 26/10 so I contacted Amazon and they kindly arranged to send me another. I got it today...and yes it's short dated 29/10 Hmm. Haven't got the heart to contact Amazon again so I'm gonna keep a jar and scoff it, and give the other one to my Granddaughter to scoff Smile
SharonMack17 · 15/09/2021 17:25

My SSB hoody arrived today (for adult DD2) it's gorgeous! (Wish I'd got myself one)

Someaddedsugar · 15/09/2021 17:25

Boxes of Quality Street are £1.50 in Tesco with a Clubcard (usually £3)

Bicnod · 15/09/2021 17:29

My Hype lucky dip for DS (age 10, but I bought age 13 as he likes things baggy and Hype size come up small) arrived today. It is really fab. Hoodie, bag, 3 tshirts, water bottle, neck warmer, pencil case, swim shorts and one other thing I can't remember. All for less than £60. I'm super pleased with it - it will be one of DS's big presents under the tree...
