@17caterpillars1mouse

I've been watching the Sylvanian family baby amusement Park for a few months and finally purchased it yesterday from Amazon for £38. Its for dds 3rd birthday on boxing day. It usually retails around £50 and I doubt it will drop much lower as it was only released a few months ago. Comes with a cute baby panda :)
It’s £59 on Amazon now!
PinkJam · 12/09/2021 13:30

@Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo Wow those reviews on trustpilot for Fossil are horrendous!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 12/09/2021 13:35

@Daisy829 does she have grooming kit? If she does what about extras to add to it like hoof grease and mane and tail spray
Treats for the horse she rides
New gloves
Silk for a hat. The le mieux ones with a Pom Pom are popular
A horsey coat or gilet
Hope valley saddlery sale section usually have some real bargains.
If she loans a pony you’ll never be short of ideas. I’m 36 and could still write a long list of pretty things my horses “need” 😂😂

Daisy829 · 12/09/2021 13:54

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin thank you. I’ll have a look at that site. I’m a novice! A grooming kit is a great idea x

Chocolateemergency · 12/09/2021 13:56

I’m looking for ghostbusters playmobil if anyone has seen any good discounts?

user1466167893 · 12/09/2021 14:06

All, thanks for feedback on Hype. I've never bought them for my own children but have been surprised by party invites (after so many COVID cancellations) and was thinking it would be something different. They don't sound like a business I want to support. I'll keep looking! Thanks, love this thread x

MerylSqueak · 12/09/2021 14:09

Fossil haven't ever been bad for me and I have returned several things. I had great customer service over the phone. Superdry on the other hand...

animalcrossingfan2021 · 12/09/2021 14:12

Quidco have a £20 boost on a £30 video game purchase from a selection of retailers.
Have just bought Mario Golf for my sons birthday and cashback has tracked so the game has only cost me £19.95 instead of £39.95.
Have popped my referral link in the referral thread if anyone hasn't signed up yet, thanks to anyone who uses it 😀

Riverhouse · 12/09/2021 14:19

I've bought from Fossil before and it was fine. Those reviews seem to be mainly about watch repairs so I'm hoping my bag and wallets will be okay

toolazytothinkofausername · 12/09/2021 14:31

My local The Works has Christmas items in stock.

TwinsandTrifle · 12/09/2021 14:44

@SpecialK24 here's a photo of both.

To be honest, the sacks are super, if you told me they were from Fortnum's Christmas shop I would believe it. The stockings I wouldn't buy independently as the quality is notably lower. I'm just a bit OCD with matching sets, so the fact I can have stockings and sacks for everyone in the same red velvet and the same font initials, makes me disproportionately happy Xmas Grin

@Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo

Should have looked at this before ordering... uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fossil.com

I think what I thought was an excellent bargain will be turning into a headache.

I used them this time last year. They cancelled half my order a few days later which was a pain as I’d ordered items to go together, some of which were personalised and without the matching items were just a bit random. Obviously personalised items can’t be returned so I was stuffed. The items I received were decent quality for the money but I bought small leather goods not jewellery.
RainbowPhilosophy · 12/09/2021 15:17

I've just visited Dorothy Perkins through Quidco after I posted about it, not thinking I'd find anything to buy as their clothes aren't really for me. However I discovered that they have 25% or more off everything with an extra 10% off at checkout, plus 3 for 2 on sales items. With the 35% back through Quidco too I've now got 3 purses, a scarf and 2 bags on the way for £17.86.

mumontherun14 · 12/09/2021 15:19

@Daisy829 my DD has a horse so here are some good sites
Horse health.co.uk
Naylors.co.uk
Vibe.co.uk
Aztecdiamond.co.uk

My dd loves Wooly hat, new gloves. Jumper (you can get personalised), new boots, grooming kit/bag - le mieux is a great shout. Socks - again le mieux. Photograph/painting of her favourite pony in a frame, horse calendar. Horse story books or practical books for dressage/jumping etc. Pony annual. Show bag. Heartland dvds.

Just a few that I can think of that have done down well xxx

Gilead · 12/09/2021 15:48

H&B £10 parcels have arrived!
Thank you!

Scout2016 · 12/09/2021 15:52

Yes them not having two of the things stuff up the others I will have a bit as it will make gifts really unbalanced.

irresistibleoverwhelm · 12/09/2021 16:08

Can I ask a question about the cinnamon buns? What are the packs like, m and what are the use by dates - can they be kept and given as a gift, say to teachers/friends etc? (That is, if I don’t eat them before then - have ordered some but they aren’t here yet!)

Daisy829 · 12/09/2021 16:09

@mumontherun14 thanks so much I’ll take a look at all of these. X

dizzygirl1 · 12/09/2021 16:12

Quick velvetiser question... Are they actually worth it? £80 on offer at the moment, it seems such a large amount of money to make hot chocolate but I really like the look of them, just seems a lot for a gadget.

VolcanicProtectorMan · 12/09/2021 16:13

I came on to say about the Burton Quidco cashback but someone beat me to it! I’ve got 4 t-shirts for DH for xmas as he needs new clothes but will never buy them himself. They were in the sale, plus I got an extra 15% off at checkout, and the tracked cashback, so they cost me £12! They had loads of choice of t-shirts DH would wear too so I’m happy!

TheBestWhootersInWhoville · 12/09/2021 16:23

Has anyone seen any offers for Mugler Alien perfume?

unexpectedthird · 12/09/2021 16:24

This isn't a bargain as such but it is the opportunity to nab yourself a fairly unique and special present for someone.

Every year this auction is organised in aid of Children in Need and loads of authors donate signed books. It's a great chance to get a signed copy from a favourite author as a gift.

IggyAce · 12/09/2021 16:27

Just popped into my local home bargains for loo roll and spotted a small selection of pop heads for £2.99, probably not popular ones but someone might get lucky.

Also had Sylvanian family play sets for £34.99.

I’ve attached pictures for the Sylvanian sets there was also a log cabin.

I got the Colin the Caterpillar stirrers, huge empty shelf where the £7.50 chocs had been.
Am on a mission to get as much shopping done for xmas, so got 2 for £7 quality street tubs. Just need to hide them so they dont get eaten.
