@HungryHippo11

Sorry if already mentioned mentioned, these were in Aldi for £3.99 rather than £9.99 and are lovely quality. Good for stocking filliers or maybe kiddy friends birthday parties? They also had a nature one.

They also have colour in playhouses a bit like the hobbycraft ones but only £9 and quite a lot of summer stuff reduced .

Doesn't help anyone else but I got some great brand new books and jigsaws (also usborne so not cheap) in the charity shop - 50p for books and £3 for puzzles!

Thanks for the heads up on the Usborne books in Aldi. I was waiting for them to come in. Have stocked up on a few for upcoming children's birthdays.
Dolphintrainer · 08/09/2021 19:20

@lexloofah That Adam Kay book looks right up my son’s street, I have ordered it. Thanks for posting

MydeamonsanOstrich · 08/09/2021 19:24

Those of you with the snaffling pig brew kits; what are the dates like on the ingredients? I've resisted thus far but if the dates are long enough I'm tempted for hard to buy for friend who started brewing his own during lockdown.

SandwichDistraction · 08/09/2021 19:28

Amazon have a deal with the Vtech Kiddizoom Camera plus a free case for £39.99. Seems like a decent price compared to elsewhere on the internet. My 4yr old has one of these and has used it a lot in the last year.

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo · 08/09/2021 20:06

@duckduckswan

Just wanted to share a beautiful book that I think makes a lovely keepsake of a present. This one is butterflies (each page has a butterfly cut out) but if you google paperscape books there are lots of other themes (dogs/trees/cats etc). Reduced in price at WHS and Amazon. Personally think they are lovely for young and old
Love these. Thank you for posting. If you like these you’d likely like the Robert Sabuda books too.
AnotherOne4 · 08/09/2021 20:12

My Cinnamon Buns arrived today. OMG, they look superb. For £3.08 each they are massive and I'm very impressed Grin (still £3.08 if anyone fancies them) Oh and they use by dates and May 2022.

PinkDaydreams · 08/09/2021 20:30

I'm sure I've read on here about some sort of light up writing board? What are they please and would it be suitable for a four year old? Thank you!

WisestIsShe · 08/09/2021 20:34

Oh man. I resisted the buns for a full 12 months but @AnotherOne4 finally persuaded me. I clicked on the link and got them s+s for £2.18 Xmas Grin

AnotherOne4 · 08/09/2021 20:39

Haha @WisestIsShe They really are a good size box. I was expecting something like the baking kits you get in supermarkets, but these are mahoosive!!! (Let us know when you get yours if you are pleased) And you got yours even cheaper! BARGAIN!

Elpheba · 08/09/2021 20:41

My buns ended up being free Grin they’d put them in an order with some shampoo which leaked everywhere. They were gifts so have got a refund and instead of disposing of them I will have to just eat them myself!

daisyboo1 · 08/09/2021 20:41

I went to my local M&S food store to get the light up tea bag tins and they were in the Christmas chocolates section rather than in the tea bag section. Obvious I guess, but it may save someone thinking they weren't in stock!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 08/09/2021 20:42

There's a sale on at lucy locket loves. Leggings in the sale from £7. Some active ones heavily reduced too. Free postage if you spend over £40 or use SEPTSHIP for free postage if you spend less than £40.
If you sign up you earn points too.

Great quality and fun designs, if you liked kukubird, then you will like these too 😆

itsonlysubterfuge · 08/09/2021 20:51

@ElvisPresleyHadABaby if you want to spend a little more on alcohol markers, but not get the expensive Copic ones, then Arteza is a good brand and they are currently on sale!

Arteza Anyone else who is interested in good quality arty bits, these are good quality, we have lots of different Arteza stuff. Hope I did the link right haven't been on the bargain thread in ages, my daughter still has her giant pink unicorn though!

TwinsandTrifle · 08/09/2021 21:45

@FredaFox

I don't have that offer at all. Or even the £25 off £75 as other poster said. My Cox and Cox just says 20% off any full price item using code MOBSEPA Confused

spagbog5 · 08/09/2021 21:46

@CamdenLurker
Thanks so much
I've just ordered the Parisian one too !

HungryHippo11 · 08/09/2021 22:02

@VeruccaSalty

Placemarking. I am torn between telling my Christmas-mad sister about this thread and not wanting to share the bargains (we have to buy a lot of the same people).
Wait until you've bought everything (which will be pretty soon judging by the speed of this thread) then tell her Grin
FizzyDibdab · 08/09/2021 22:19

I got my Bodum coffee set last week, really happy with it. However, I got another dispatch email today saying another Bodum set is on it's way! I only ordered one set so checked my bank account in case they've taken money out. They haven't although I paid by PayPal so they shouldn't take another payment without authorisation.

Very intrigued so will wait and see what turns up from Bodum. H&B have taken the money for the beauty box but no dispatch email has been sent yet.

woodwaj · 08/09/2021 22:41

@Trytowin20 it was me. I found it in the boys clothing section (not the pj section where you would expect it!)
