Just a note for those who ordered the home brew kit, the snacks in the presentation box have a long date but the extra ones in the wider cardboard box expire before Xmas so make sure you eat them

@fourquenelles I think some of the M&S Xmas yummy things went out of stock quite quickly last year, add HGV driver shortages to that - I would buy now if you know you want something. Depends on whether you can stop yourself eating them before Xmas .

Mario lego House set with yoshi figure 12.50 in tesco clearance today.

They also had minions splat figures for £2 (sticky minions, blind bag of different style minions with a cardboard catapult/structure) -picked up as stocking fillers for the boys.

@ ChiaraMontague ugg usually discount on Black Friday ive picked up some ok deals before so if you aren’t desperate it might be worth waiting

DD loved the Kay's anatomy one she got last year, has read it countless times, this one looks even more up her alley with horrible histories style gross medical stuff

Sorry if already mentioned mentioned, these were in Aldi for £3.99 rather than £9.99 and are lovely quality. Good for stocking filliers or maybe kiddy friends birthday parties? They also had a nature one.

They also have colour in playhouses a bit like the hobbycraft ones but only £9 and quite a lot of summer stuff reduced .

Doesn't help anyone else but I got some great brand new books and jigsaws (also usborne so not cheap) in the charity shop - 50p for books and £3 for puzzles!

So... My dobbies parcel arrived today. Opened it to find one item missing. The sodding playhouse. Everything else was bits and bobs to make up the delivery. Aaargh.

Just wanted to share a beautiful book that I think makes a lovely keepsake of a present. This one is butterflies (each page has a butterfly cut out) but if you google paperscape books there are lots of other themes (dogs/trees/cats etc). Reduced in price at WHS and Amazon. Personally think they are lovely for young and old

M&S light up house biscuits secured. No tea bags but it was the biscuits I really wanted. Thought they would go nicely with the portmerion mugs & tray I’ve got for mil
I also managed to get some of the spiced plum gin for me & some decorate your own gingerbread stars for the kids on Xmas eve
