If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@Arthien ooh I love those tea tins ! Has M&S really started putting their Christmas stuff out?

Twilightstarbright · 02/09/2021 13:12

@ClaraLane I gave a massive snigger at that typo!

I'm going to leave a link to this lady who makes custom capes, masks, fairy wings etc for kids. I bought capes and masks for my kids 4 years ago and they still look perfect, the quality is excellent. They aren't cheap but based on the durability I think they are good value.
I was picky about colour combinations for lining and intials and she was great at accommodating my choices.

*I have no link to this person except as a happy customer but I think it's nice to support and recommend small business, especially after everyone has had a tough couple of years.

Just picked up these six bottles of j p chenet ice sparkling rose and white wine. With the 15% coupon and subscribe and save discount its £30 for six bottles (fiver each). They look abit sparkly so I'm going to use them for childminder and neighbours etc

Not sure if any good to anyone (although maybe better for halloween) swizzels have a free chocolate bar of you spend £5 and 15% off if you spend £25. They do have gift sets too. www.swizzels.com/shop/

I nabbed the photo off a FB bargain group but it looks promising! I'm hoping to pop to an M&S food tomorrow if I get time, so I'll report back if there are any nice bits out yet.

Mummyoply · 02/09/2021 13:36

Some in-store bargains at Tesco today, I got a sand/water table for £8.95 was £25, a ball pit £5.50 and balls £3.50 should have been £10 and £6. Also, a bounce hopper for £1.50 was £6 and if you have a club card bend and flex DC Marvel figures are £8 instead of £10.

There were lots of other sale items too - looks like it's just what's on the shelf when you go. Lots of water blasters, swimming pools and interactive toys for 1yr - 18mnths.

I'm looking for a really nice hooded dressing gown for DH, in black, brown or navy. I think he'd prefer a towelling type robe rather than fleece. Any recommendations? I love the White Company ones but they are £80 Shock which seems a lot for a dressing gown...

Number109 · 02/09/2021 13:54

@bicnod I got a really lovely robe for my DH from Sainsbury’s last year. I’d seen one elsewhere at £70 but didn’t want to pay that much. The Sainsbury’s one was £24 full price but they often have 25% off weeks (in normal years anyway).

Lariflete · 02/09/2021 14:00

Hello,
I left a review on NailsInc and they sent me a 10% off code if anyone would benefit from it:

Thanks so much - I hadn't thought of Sainsbury's! Just found a navy borg lined hooded dressing gown which I think he'll like for £26 Grin I think I'll get it now in case they go out of stock in his size.

This website looks great thank you. Trying to buy from small businesses this year and I like the idea that postage is included too.

Home bargains have a few christmas bits in now like gift bags and tags. I picked up some good size dinosaur egg bath bombs with toy dinos inside for my DS1 stocking for £1.50 and a squishy rainbow one with animals inside for ds2.

Sideorderofchips · 02/09/2021 15:10

It really has some lovely stuff. This is a bracelet I bought off there

I have just got a happy napper I ordered from Amazon about 3 weeks ago. It was one of the £19 ones (looks like they are selling cheaper now but with postage added). The quality seems ok but I’d say it’s slightly on the small side length wise

@CamdenLurker

Hi everyone!

I'm in the market for two official Oodies, I did see the buy one get one free offer but the patterns aren't really suitable for my 24 & 18 year old sons, what's the best deal anyone has come Across for The Oodie? I'll be buying them as a kind of joke present so don't want to blow the budget and spend £80 quid each.

Thanks

We got one last week (DH’s gift to me). They were doing £25 off everything if you signed up to emails. If you put it in the basket & leave it overnight they then email you increasing it to £30 off

I didn't find one for £40 but searched and found 2 lovely Christmas beauty boxes, one for £10 and one £20, just ordered 4, lots of presents done in one go, much appreciated! Grin
FireworkParrot · 02/09/2021 17:40

Thank you for the heads-up on the cinnamon buns @Gimmemoredonuts, I've ordered two boxes to add to the box I already have in the cupboard!
