If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here to use for if you’re posting your personal referral link to others.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@FredaFox I had to ask as I really cannot see the link, and I been up and down the thread numerous times 😂

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 06/09/2021 15:02

@Raindancer411 it's these. Scroll down to other sellers. They're still £1.50

@BargainBet @HoHoLow hold out on the Lego Submarine , I got it for £6 in July 😃

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 06/09/2021 15:04

What are people doing for teachers with these? Putting them with something else or no? Genuine question as my son only started nursery school last week and I don't know what's 'expected'. Do you give to the teacher and all the TAs? I think I counted three TAs last week Confused

Raindancer411 · 06/09/2021 15:09

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah Thank you

@EveLe we bought this very basic marshmallow toasting kit for self catering holiday this year, mostly because I wanted the burner, made from beets or something. Came in a nice presentation box, the mallows etc are long gone but burner has hours and hours left, used it last night to make our own s'mores with those liebnitz biscuits. That other s'mores kit does look good though, just wanted to post this as another option

WisestIsShe · 06/09/2021 15:13

@Purpletoes does she have a phone/tablet/something with a camera? If yes I'd suggest a sprocket instead. DD had an Instax but every time you take a photo it prints. With the sprocket you can choose which photos to print, edit them etc. Paper is still expensive but less wasteful.

FireworkParrot · 06/09/2021 15:24

The H&B seems different for everyone because I ordered three of the £10 boxes and got a dispatch email from H&B yesterday......so I'm hopeful they'll turn up.

With regards to small world toy animals..... Schleich or Papo are the best we've found. We have a Papo octopus that's fantastic and regularly comes to the swimming pool with us Grin

@17caterpillars1mouse

GLTC have a lovely plain white wooden tea trolley, it was in their sale (I think at least 40% off) when we got it. They sometimes do a half price/40% off or codes sale every so often if you have a look out.

On the subject of instant printers we went for a bargain (think it was £18) KiiPix which prints from a phone onto Instax film using light so you can print off snapchat screenshots etc out. Variable quality and a couple of wasted films to get the hang of it - it really needs a bright image but it was fun to play with.

Instax now do a mini link printer that prints from phone or a switch too via a wireless connection onto Instax film which might be useful.

Thanks for the tips for Disney princess dresses!

If anyone shops at Joules they are offering £10 off a £50 spend and free postage with the code: PACKED

Tinysnickers · 06/09/2021 16:30

My H&B saga continues. I went to store to collect my £20 box (£10 one hasn't been sent). Store supposed to close at 5pm. Got there at 3.45 and the store was closed, although all the lights were on and till still l switched on etc.
Called customer services to ask wtf was going on as I could see my parcel through the window but obv not get in. After 15 mins someone appears inside and unlocks the door, and explains that she was on her lunchbreak. Which obviously they need yo have, but surely they could stick a note on the door. Grrrr. So that made me late for the kids swim lesson. And I will have to go back again if the £10 box ever gets sent.

FizzyDibdab · 06/09/2021 16:35

@EveLe I've bought a few naked marshmallow kits for nieces and nephews & they're always popular. Nicely packaged and lots of choices for different dietary requirements. I've bought the vegan kits before.

AnotherOne4 · 06/09/2021 16:50

@FizzyDibdab (don't panic if you read my msg, nothing is wrong lol) I just clicked on the link you included in your post, for the Naked Marshmallows, and this message came up....

ATTENTION!
We're very sorry that due to delivery issues and board shortages across the country, we are currently having issues with stock.

This means that we are currently operating on longer lead times and we hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Kinda shows, that we are doing the right thing in buying early Smile

Bebabelouba · 06/09/2021 17:05

Thank you for the Hawkins bazar tip. Have ordered a few stocking fillers and other bits in the clearance sale.

recklessgran · 06/09/2021 17:16

I've been notified that my H&B order [One £10 beauty box] has been dispatched and will be delivered by 9th. More crucially there is a note attached to the tracking info saying that there are currently issues with the Amazon shipping courier service that H&B are using and apologising for any inconvenience this may cause. [Hope this reassures people who are worrying about not receiving their beauty boxes yet.]

I would say it’s up to you. At the risk of being pounded I never did teacher presents at all. It’s personal choice imo. An email to the head for their performance review is always welcome though

Apparently code GOOGLE50 will get you a free Google Nest when you spend £50 at John Lewis.

I passed primark today and popped in and walked out with their version of the oodie (the snuddie) I got the small and it fits 6 year old DS well. This was the only one in the shop that I saw
