I've never posted on this thread before but I went to costco yesterday and they had the Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets lego set for £100 inc VAT and one of the schleich horse club big show sets for either £35 or £40

From what I can gather both are pretty good bargains!

I ordered one £20 and one £10 box, supposedly to collect yesterday, but had no emails. Called them just now, lady said tje £20 box has been sent out today, but the £10 box has gone out of stock so has not been sent. Feeling a bit grumpy about that as they were still available for quite a while after I ordered. She said she could refund me, or I could wait for it to come back into stock in about 10 days. But as they were clearance items I don't think that's very likely somehow.

I've bought the Natural Dictators Disasters book for DS. He prefers non-fiction books and, although he is a bit of a worrier, is fascinated by natural disasters!

I thought it might be about animals who boss others around. He'd have liked that too.

Bugger it. Managed to get a playmobil combine harvester second hand on ebay and just realised two of the combine blades (red sticks) are missing. Playmobil shut for spares 😭 DS birthday next month. Any bright ideas where might do spares? There's none on ebay.

I’m looking for a special gift for two year old twins - boy and a girl.
I bought my son a nursery rhyme CD one year which has his name in the sings - ie wake up Fred it’s the morning - today’s a brand new day - wake up Fred stop the yawning it’s time to go out and play.
I can’t remember where I bought it from though or any special books which you can put there name in.

@Whydidimarryhim I had similar cd for my dc. I’m sure I got it in dobbies. They use to have name items like little books CDs etc or more gift-shop independent places like garden centre, tourist spots etc. Not sure online sorry.
