If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Thank you all for this thread! I just got the HB boxes too, my first Christmas presents purchased (not sure who for yet, might be myself!)

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 02/09/2021 20:18

I brought a box for me as I needed a shampoo bar anyway. I plan to take out the makeup sponge and add it to the £2.50 no 7 mascara from last week and the free eye palette to make up a little gift set for my niece (I don't wear foundation so wouldn't use it!)

AnotherOne4 · 02/09/2021 20:19

I'm trying really hard not to buy Cinnamon Buns and HB beauty boxes Blush Love this thread!

luckiestgirl · 02/09/2021 20:24

The 20% off code worked on the £20 HB box for me.
I’m going to keep the bits I like and then I think I’m going to make an advent calendar for my sister with the bits I don’t want - and give it to her for her birthday in November. I still have some beauty box bits from last years boxes that I can add if they’re in date, and sweet treats etc, could easily get together 24 lovely bits (especially if the Look Fantastic beauty box deal happens again this year)

Fuckingfuckssake · 02/09/2021 20:26

Would anyone like to send me a Unidays code for H&B?? 😳 I'll love you forever.

Restlessinthenorth · 02/09/2021 20:27

I'm thinking one of my boxes for my sil and one for me! The ren of products are lovely, looking forward to trying the cleanser. This is a proper bargain! I love this thread

SpamIAm · 02/09/2021 20:33

Okay the extra uni days discount swung it for me. Three boxes on their way, plus 2 coconut soap bars to get the free postage.

Apparently these are £16.78 at Costco. Not sure how it would taste but definitely make a great gift

Jedstre · 02/09/2021 20:42

Did anyone get the Bonne Maman advent calendar last year? It’s pre order only at the moment but very tempted for DH

Theimpossiblegirl · 02/09/2021 20:49

blackcurrantqueen · 02/09/2021 20:50

Thank you for the H&B link. I got the £10 box and used the VEGAN10 discount
Stupid question maybe, does anybody know- are all the products in the box vegan?

BeautifulTulips · 02/09/2021 20:57

Thanks for the heads up about the Holland and Barrett beauty boxes – I've ordered a couple of those for gifts!

On the previous thread there was mention of the turtle doves wrist warmers for £16 – I can't find this now, does anyone know if it is still available? Thanks

Scout2016 · 02/09/2021 20:57

@Jedstre I got it for my gran who really loved it. I had updates all advent how nice the hams were. Apparently really attractive packaging (last year anyway) too.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 02/09/2021 20:59

@Scout2016 a ham calendar 😀

Fuckingfuckssake · 02/09/2021 20:59

Huge thanks to @Theimpossiblegirl teacher presents sorted Smile

TidyOmlette · 02/09/2021 21:03

@noscoobydoodle @NeedMoreTea

Would either of you recommend the Melissa and Doug magic set for a 5 year old?

Wouldn't it be funny if I taught your child?!!
Fuckingfuckssake · 02/09/2021 21:04

I guess we'll find out at Christmas 😉

Tinysnickers · 02/09/2021 21:12

Oops. Bought both the h&b boxes. For me Blush
No one else I am buying for would appreciate them, so...

noscoobydoodle · 02/09/2021 21:13

@TidyOmlette - my 5 year old enjoyed it and could do a few of the simple tricks herself but couldn't manage a few of the more difficult (fiddly or complicated) ones. She's is a bit clumsy though so probably never going to be her forte! To be honest we all enjoyed playing with it as much as DD7 who we bought it for!

Scout2016 · 02/09/2021 21:15

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah ha! Clearly past my bedtime. My DD would actually love a ham calendar, as long as it wasn't the fancy ham that might have some pig in it.

I just bought the £20 H&B box. I have no idea what any of the things inside are or do but I'm hoping my spa day and toiletries loving friend will, and each product has good reviews. Thank you!

Thank you @Scout2016 Grin at nice hams

17caterpillars1mouse · 02/09/2021 21:27

I'm on a Christmas shopping spree today, I got a few bits from our local toystore, some tk maxx bargains and now 2 x the Holland and Barratt boxes too.

Daisy829 · 02/09/2021 21:29

Thank you for the H&B box. Looks amazing. I’ve just ordered the £10 for DH to put away for my Xmas gift. I’m going to be strong & not even look at it when it arrives.

HungryHippo11 · 02/09/2021 21:30

@TakeMeToYourLiar

Not a bargain but also beware Aldi special buys. Two items have come with just the sticker on.

Luckily the kids were out

Same. We ordered a toy for the garden and it arrived with a big picture of the item on the front. Luckily I managed to turn it over so nosy 4yo didn't spot it.
