Morning! I've been up since 5:20 but I did go to bed before 9 Grin so dark and cold this morning but I could see all the stars which was nice.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 06/10/2021 06:44

Morning I am getting ready for an early shift. Feeling pleased with myself as I have put a casserole in the slow cooker for dinner. Can't be bothered to work, I got injured again last week (just for a change) and my back hurts and I would prefer to stay in bed.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 06:49

Morning!

I failed at sleeping at the getting to sleep end, so I'm also tired!

Wreck, I did the Boob or Bust thing online last night and it's given me a size I'd never have thought of! Which is too small on the band for supermarkets. Annoyingly. I don't want expensive bras, just something that will do the job!

WreckTangled · 06/10/2021 07:10

I get mine from Debenhams but usually just go for bralettes. The plus of having small boobs Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 07:21

I'm not right keen on the strap size being from the 'so tight you think you're going to snap the tape' measurement! 🤣

Our Debenhams closed. I have M&S or online as my choices.

I came out at 30G or GG. 😱

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 07:28

I just ordered a load from Next to try. At least I don't have to pay up front!

pussycatlickinglollyices · 06/10/2021 07:40

fluffy what size did you think you were? (just wondering if there's something a bit "off" with the sizing) I know when I broke a wire in one of mine, I fished it out and it said 36EE, 38E, 40DD on it, so it must be the same wire in each but with slightly bigger/smaller cups and longer/shorter band. 30GG sounds massive. It's hard to believe you've been running with norks that big without hurting yourself.

ConstantlyCooking · 06/10/2021 07:52

Lovely dress firefly -personally I'd wait but that's only because l would put it somewhere safe! (Anyone remember the year I found a box of Hotel choc the following October??? Fluffy I tend to buy my bras in John Lewis/Debenhams sale and so they fit well but are in weird colours!
I had a beautiful sunny walk to the station with an autumn chill in the air. I might need to dig out gloves and my winter coat soon.

DD has tonsillitis but luckily she is still working from home this week. We are planning to spend some time on Saturday with the M&S Christmas food catalogue ( I managed to find a printed version!) to think about festive meals. My aim is to buy fewer random bits that look nice and then ruin my after Christmas healthy eating aspirations!t

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 07:54

That's just it, they aren't massive, it's the differential between the back size (30) and the bust size (38 upright / 39.5 leaning over). This way of measuring doesn't add 4 or 5 (whatever it was) before deciding cup size. My last bras were bought using the 'add-on' method and were 34DD. So a bit different! 🙈🤣 They seemed to fit OK though. 🤷‍♀️

Google Boob or Bust. You'll potentially want help from DH!

Christmas and healthy eating aren't comfortable bed partners, Constantly! Xmas Grin

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 06/10/2021 08:00

I only buy online as no Debenhams here anyway. Next is a good idea. I wear a 30C and my boobs don't even fit in my hand Grin fits well though.

I've got lots of driving to do today and tomorrow. Oh and Friday. I have 195 miles left in the tank so will be on the hunt for fuel.

WreckTangled · 06/10/2021 08:00

I don't worry about what I eat at Christmas but try to be healthy in the run up not working Grin

ConstantlyCooking · 06/10/2021 08:30

I abandon healthy eating once-I-buy-florentines mid-December but end up with so many extra treats that I am still eating them in Feb Xmas Grin.
In my head I think I am hosting a two-week banquet in a mansion in the country rather than the less impressive reality!

pussycatlickinglollyices · 06/10/2021 08:32

fluffy try Sainsburys/Tu. My last lot were from there and I think they're closer to an M&S fit (with the adding 4 on). I'll grab DH when he's had a bath this evening it's the only time he has warm enough hands and he can have a rummage then 🤦‍♀️😂.

pussycatlickinglollyices · 06/10/2021 08:37

Constantly my DH has already eaten a tub of QS. He's found the after eights too, so I've had to hide them somewhere else.🙄 I tend to overbuy as there's only us 2 and the cats so it could be really expensive and wasteful. I tend to go for frozen/freeze at home, then just take out what we need.
Don't rush to dig your warm coat etc out - we're having a mini-heatwave tomorrow/Friday.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 08:49

Yes, 19° the next two days. Toasty!

TU start at 32 band according to the website. Silly! I'll see how the B&B size fit and go from there!

CrazyBaubles · 06/10/2021 09:25

Constantly I do similar with the Christmas food. I'm buy only what we need in the run up, then when we do the 'big shop' the week before all sorts of stuff finds it's way in to my trolley - generally enough cheese, dips, crisps and nuts to feed an army Xmas Blush

Puss we went to Costco on the weekend and I bought chocolate Brazil nuts to start off my dads hamper. I've had to hide them because DH's eyes were like this 😍 when he spotted them!

I keep meaning to try the Boob or busy measuring thing because my bras never fit quite right. Maybe I'll remember soon 🙄

Should be sunny here today and up to 15° so I'm clearing the washing basket again today.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 09:36

Yeah. I'm known for having enough Christmas food in the house to feed an army! 🙄

ConstantlyCooking · 06/10/2021 12:19

Crazy once we have petrol, I am heading to Costco for 2kg yin of Quality Street. I also like the look of the blond chocolate nuts in M&S - I might need some for my secret stashBlush

pussycatlickinglollyices · 06/10/2021 12:57

Crazy I got an absolute bollocking from my mum when I was about 5 for sucking the chocolate off "her" Just Brazils and chucking the nut in the bin.😂
Not sure she ever worked out if it was me or my dad that did the same with the icing on the Sugared Almonds we both did 😇

CrazyBaubles · 06/10/2021 15:08

Wow I just read my post back and there are typos all over the place Blush

Fluffy at least you're a family of 4 so have some excuse for the excess food. Here there are only 2 of us and DH doesn't actually eat very much cheese!

Constantly I think DH and I will have to limit our visits to 3 or 4 times a year as we spend ££££ - starting after the next visit which should be in the next few weeks, purely so I can look at Christmas stuff.

puss chocolate Brazil's are my dads ultimate favourite treat so he gets some every year for his birthday, Christmas and Father's Day.
I think he'd cry if I sucked the chocolate off and threw the nut away!

I picked niece up from nursery and ended up looking after her for a few hours while trying to work (emergency issue with nephew) so my head is mush now.
I listened in to a meeting with one Bluetooth headphone while she talked / sang at me 🤯

I've also noticed that it's almost time for a new thread - I'll start getting some pictures ready....

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2021 15:12

BRUUUUUUUUUUUCE! Xmas Grin

WreckTangled · 06/10/2021 15:31

I'm home and under a blanket on the sofa. It's actually nice and warm today but the sun is already on the way down.

Anyone heard of any ikeas getting Christmas stuff in yet? It's usually quite late if I remember rightly.

pussycatlickinglollyices · 06/10/2021 17:14
