Ooh yes, I meant to mention GBBO earlier! Exciting even if not as exciting as Strictly!

We always 'joke' about me doing a Raoul with my Kitchen Aid jug, as I sometimes knock it and it's a glass one! I hope to not actually emulate him, however!

I have returned safely from my travels. Nothing of newsworthy note although there was a film crew filming one of the other boats through the locks.

I am recording bake off to watch another day so got to avoid spoilers.

Oh bugger! I forgot about GBBO. I've crawled into bed to try and sleep off a headache.

I posted on another Christmas Thread about Christmas food because I decided I needed to stock the cupboards full of Christmas yummies. I will resist!! I will!!

Ds is still eating. He's the slowest eater in the world. This always makes me want to eat chocolate and biscuits.

I didn't realise Bake Off was today but just as well as my head isn't up to it.
DH is watching some nonsense next to me while he's working and I'm listening to quiet music through headphones.
I've taken 3 lots of medication today to shift this headache and it's milder but still here. Early night here I think.

Also, I've just spent £20 on Christmas cushion covers and a few other bits from Shein. Wreck that is definitely your fault I bought 9 cushion covers - 2 are for my dm and 1 for my sister so it isn't as bad as it seems but still 🙄

I have added stollen bites and a tub of mini cheddars to my Christmas cupboard

I need to locate lebkuchen! Bloody love those (DS does too!).

I’ve just searched old Christmas countdown threads and apparently the last one I was on was actually 2015. I’ll still stick around though if that’s ok.

I haven’t bought any Christmas chocolates etc yet —because DH always complains that I buy them early then eat them—, but I noticed festive air fresheners are already available from Tesco so put some on my order

Morning!

I checked my photos last night after posting. The giraffe was stored until July '16, as he got it for his birthday. So 2015 was definitely my first year. I was probably HungryHorace then though.

Third day of cross trainer done! I got up to 30 minutes today, which is what I want to do. I must have more residual stamina than I thought, as it didn't take me long to get there!

Seven, do you know if PSB is still around? She was more prolific back in the day!

Morning. Lovely sunny day here. We're all tired this morning 🥱 luckily I have a quiet day today.

I'm officially starting uni next week. I've got my timetable and everything, pretty scary, not sure I'm clever enough and also have to arrange lol of my observations etc in places I don't know which is literally my worst nightmare!

How often are you in uni? Is it one day a week? I'd take it as a nice change from normal work!

It's a bit drizzly here, but not meant to be. The washing is staying out for the promised improvement later! 🤣

Yes one day a week but the first semester is online which is good for me. Then two days normal work and a day and a half shadowing/learning etc

I'm waiting for DS's school to tell us about jab arrangements. He said he wants it.

The imms team round here are already getting threats via email and verbally from anti vax parents. Dd isn't 12 until June so won't be eligible although she would be in group 4 if they were to categorise it like the adults.

That's disgraceful Wreck. I have to admit I'm a little anxious about the potential for side effects but it's his choice and overall the pros outweigh the cons. I think 😬

@Wreck good luck at uni! What course are you doing? I had the best time as a mature student at uni.

DS isn't 12 til July. He hates anything medical so if I give him a choice he'll say no! Not sure how I feel, I didn't hesitate at getting for me.
