Here we go. Couldn't think of a witty thread title. Soz!

Don't think I've bought any bras in about 7 - 8 years at all really. I sometimes look, but my size seems to have very little stock and I'm fussy about having no padding etc.

I don't venture onto S&B either...not my scene at all.

I only ever really look at active threads and just see them popping up. I hate padding especially the removable ones what's the point?! Always in sports bras too. I end up chucking them in the bin as soon as I get them.

Someone's car alarm has been going off intermittently since Friday. It's driving me mad.

God, I have that, and barking fucking dogs ALL DAY here. Drives me up the wall.

I don't have padding in my sports bra, thank god. It's a zip-up, racer back, one from Next.

Oh, I've been and bought lamb, pork, beef and chicken. They're safely into the freezer now!

I ring up the RAF and ask them for old parachutes fir my bras. The one I have on has stronger cabling than the Clifton suspension bridge.

Busy day today. Busy work. Ds has before and after school club. Dd has piano after school then we've got an open evening at her school.

There is an autumnal chill here too. I was just saying to DH that the greenhouse got up to 30° during yesterday, but was below 10° overnight!

I'm hoping we stick to online school meetings this year. I think they worked really well.

I am on a work trip rest and relaxation day today. We are going on a narrow boat. Could be interesting.

I have had the same name since 2012 JustSeven so recognisable.

Brisk start here too, but that's good to have woken my brain up for an early meeting (with very senior person). Lots to get done, but at least it's bright outside.

Anyone have any ideas of what would be good to look for if I get a couple of hours in Slovenia (Brdo or Ljubliana) to wander/shop on a work trip? Chances not terribly high as we need to drive to Treviso in Italy to get home on Friday evening, but crossing my fingers as I think I may have a few hours free on Thursday afternoon. Cabin baggage only so no liquids.

Exercising first thing is good; I feel way more ready for my day to start when I've done it.

What a rubbish evening / start to the day here (migraine) 😡 They're stressing me out at the mo - no doubt made worse by the continuing stuffy weather.

I've pushed DH to ask his friend in work if they're doing turkeys this year. He rolled his eyes because its only September but I think he'll ask when he sees her.

Nothing to suggest for you biddy but please report back on how it was please as I'd quite like to go to Slovenia (we flew into Croatia a few years ago and did a road trip but when south through Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro etc - we did a day trip through Albania and it was terrifying)!

You will be pleased to know that I am staying inside the boat not trying anything clever! My limitations are well known amongst my colleagues fortunately.

I feel for you Why, as it is often commented on around me that my name is translated as "Grace" but I am the least graceful person most people know....currently my shins are black and blue again after only 2 boating sessions with Cubs (I'm just happy I haven't had an unintentional swim yet again this term...) - I have faith you will come home in 1 piece!

oh @whydoesitalwayshappentome please have a go at driving the boat. I am the worst at driving (or steering??) a narrow boat but I can do it. Just pick a quiet bit of the canal.

18 months after we all started WFH we've had an "Advanced Teams User" Session. That's an hour of my life I'm never getting back 😁

Christ. Teams is easy albeit a temperamental PITA. I'd have been seething having to do that!

Crazy, how's the head now?

A few years ago my dad hired a barge for the day to celebrate my mums big birthday. I was in charge for roughly 3 minutes before we hit a wall and I wasn't allowed to be in charge again after that

Fluffy my head still hurts. It's less intense now but the pain is at the top of my nose and behind my eyes, it all feels very tender and fuzzy.
I was hoping to sneak away early today but I've somehow ended up being pulled in to a meeting in my managers absence which is scheduled 2:30-4:30 - I am definitely going to struggle with it.

Flu jab all done this afternoon.

Nothing on the local news about why. She's certainly had a glorious day for her outing.

Back home from DD's open evening and just trying to do dinner. It's been so busy. Dd is having a shower and going to try and cram in some homework before.... BAKE OFF!! Woo hoo!
