@FrayKay thank you very much for the warehouse code. I've just bought lots of bargain presents. The sale is great.

PeanutButterFalcon · 30/08/2021 22:13

Went to use the photobox code and have found with the code AFFSPEND30 you get 50% off. Postage was a bit high however. Have got some prints, canvas and puzzles for the family

Just ordered these inline skates for £19.99 by ticking the save 50% box then a 10% off box. Hopefully they're good enough for my 6 year old

@NotPennysBoat

Long shot but are there ever any deals on new iPads? I'm after either 7th or 8th generation, wifi only, the cheapest I can find is £329. I want to buy from a reputable retailer in case something goes wrong. Does anyone recall if there are usually reductions on Black Friday?
I bought mine from very-they had a £50 offer on (buy the item on their credit add the code at checkout and then they credited your account with £50!) So they were the cheapest available at that time as a result. So worth checking the very offers.
Gardenworm · 30/08/2021 22:44

We bought an IPad from Very last Christmas because of the £50 new account discount. It was faulty and completely dead within hours on Xmas day. Very were very very very shit (see where they got their name from?). Took months to get our money back. Ended up buying another from John Lewis. Worst crimbo present ever. I know Very probably had no part in the fault but honestly their customer service was a crock of...

@DillieDoily thank you for link. My dd has asked for inlines for her birthday next month.
The reviews are pretty good and the wheels are rubber which makes a big difference (in a good way)

Sleepdeprivedzombie · 30/08/2021 23:04

That's good to know about the wheels! I now wish I'd bought some for my DS too but the discounts aren't showing up for me anymore (I'm guessing as I've already used them)

DillieDoily · 30/08/2021 23:41

@Sleepdeprivedzombie fab thanks just ordered a few of those!

I was real life shopping in Dobbies today and got loads of stocking fillers in the sale - lego sets (Spider-Man and lego friends) down to £3 from £9, playmobil small vets carry case for £3, scented candles for £1, joules gloves £5 instead of £20, joules welly socks for £5, a gorgeous powder scarf (for me!) for £4 and loads of other bits and bobs. Might be worth checking if you have a Dobbies nearby

MotherOfGodHoulYerWhisht · 31/08/2021 00:31

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth

I've just got some nice stationery stocking fillers from WH Smiths. The code SCHOOL gives you £5 off a 25£ spend, or £10 off a 50£ one. Free delivery too until tomorrow and I got some bits in the 3 for 2.
Thanks so much for this!!! Got my kids completely kitted out for the new term and got some Xmas bits too. I optimised and did it in three separate orders (each one over £50 but brought down to £40 with code) and got lots of 3 for 2’s. The whole thing cost me just over £120 but I saved over £60 in total!!! Sounds extravagant but amongst other things I bought their backpacks, pencil cases and lunch bags. I also got some lovely eco wrapping paper and lots of bits from the sale section. I double checked prices on other sites too so I’m feeling very smug 😊

A huge thank you to Mike from “ Weprintballs” .
I could not get my order in and emailed the company. He replied within minutes on a Bank Holiday (!) and fixed the glitch for me.
The order was for a personalised football for dgs and I know me will be thrilled.
