Floral medium Jellycat bunny is only £9 on John Lewis, other medium items are around £21 and the small size is £13. Good for the present stash for little girls 😊

[quote CasparBloomberg]Haven’t seen it on here but Joules clearance has an extra 15% off with CLEARANCE15 code

Festive Hohoho fluffy socks £3.95 (without code) would be good in stocking or Christmas Eve boxes
www.joules.com/Women/Accessories/Festive-Fluffy/Socks?size=Adult-4-8&id=210131%7CHOHOHORED%7C4-8

Lots of scarves as it is Joules, but a lovely winter one with great reviews @£10 with code from £29
www.joules.com/Women/Accessories/Stamford/Check-Scarf?size=One-Size&id=210175%7CGRYBLUCHCK%7CONE

Bit summery but the men’s plimsolls are are a bargain coming in at £12 with code instead of £40. All sizes currently available in green or white but some out of stock in blue

Thanks for this - just ordered a top for DD, shirt for DH and pair of shoes for DH too!

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 29/08/2021 15:13

Thank you @WhereTheresAHill my DD adores Jellycat bunnies (14 and counting) and that is a steal! Hope they honour it. There are lots of lovely games reduced on the sale section too.

oatmilkisntsobad · 29/08/2021 15:16

Do we think Amazon will reduce kids fire tablets again before Christmas? I was hoping for black Friday discounts after prime day in July. But them being reduced this weekend has thrown me.

I don't want to buy them too far away from Christmas and miss out on the full guarantee/subscription Confused

I can heartily recommend both Ooni and real Oodies!

Our Ooni has been much used (I got it in a bundle with a peel and some fuel from John Lewis). It's fun to make the dough, but you can buy ready made balls too. Their tomato sauce recipe is great too. It's fab for outdoor entertaining and a good way to feed a crowd.

As for Oodies, my best friend, dd and I have them and I wouldn't be without it. They are expensive, but v well made and wash well. I loved wearing it both inside and outside last winter. It was my dd's favourite present last year and looks v substantial wrapped, which other "teen" presents don't necessarily. I got a bundle too. Totally worth it. It's like wearing a massive hug.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 29/08/2021 15:36

@CasparBloomberg thank you! I have just purchased £50 worth of presents plus a little bag for me! Those key rings are great little gifts and the socks will be great. Got DD a pair of slipper boots for her bday as well.

Oreocrumbs · 29/08/2021 15:38

Thanks for the Oodie/fakes info. I think I'll get the real deal. I've played around with discount codes and they won't stack on the bundle.

The best I can see is the bundle at £50.50 each and 8% cash back through Quidco. If you just want 1 oodie there are lots of £25 off codes which bring them down to £59 each (and cash back).

The friends/Harry Potter oodies aren't included in the bundles and cost more.

Oreocrumbs · 29/08/2021 15:41

Bit of a crossed post there Petal, I'm pleased you think they're worth it. I have to admit the size of the wrapped gift on the present pile is swaying me as the 4 children are 10-13 and there piles are tiny but expensive

Haudyourwheesht · 29/08/2021 16:02

Are there ever any discounts for Halfords? It's bike time. Shock

I'd be hugely surprised if they're not heavily reduced again on prime day. Their own stuff is always prominent and very reduced.

Daisy829 · 29/08/2021 16:11

Thanks for the joules link. Got dd some trainers, slipper socks & got the keyrings & ho ho socks as little gifts for friends.

This thread has cost me a fortune today…..off to order from Grumm now

MrsPerfect12 · 29/08/2021 16:18

I got my 10" kindle fire for either £69.99 last year on Prime.

MrsPerfect12 · 29/08/2021 16:22

Sorry just checked it was £89.99

Jellybum2019 · 29/08/2021 16:26

Not sure if it has already been mentioned, but if you type in ‘Christmas’ on next it comes up with some Christmas products marked as ‘new’ so worth a little browse!

Sisisimone · 29/08/2021 16:47

Isn’t a pizza oven like getting a Hoover? I thought the mn rule was to avoid household items as gifts
I bought one for DH last Xmas. I thought it would be right up his street however he very much did see it as a domestic item and commented as such. Thankfully it wasn't his main present because that was definitely a present fail. Looking back it should have been just something we bought together for the house. Hasn't been out of its box yet either!

Tinysnickers · 29/08/2021 17:00

We also have an Ooni pizza oven, a koda 16. It has been great. We chose a gas one so we could fire it up quickly and not need to babysit it with adding wood etc. Some people prefer wood fired because they like the 'building a fire' thing.
Many people also rate the Gozney Roccbox ovens. If you want an indoor electric option the effeuno are amazing but also £££££.
We bought our ooni on back Friday but it wasn't delivered until February so if you want to order on black Friday, be ready to press the button as soon as the discount goes live to avoid ending up on the back order list.

AnastasiaBeverlyBeaverhausen · 29/08/2021 17:01

@CasparBloomberg and @TeddyOBear thanks just snaffled a Bodum set for DH to go with his Paddy and Scott coffee hamper Grin

AnotherOne4 · 29/08/2021 17:30

Has anyone every purchsed a Harry Slatkin candle? (he is on QVC right now, and I'm tempted!)

Dippydinosaurus · 29/08/2021 17:31

Thanks for the John Lewis jellycat bunny tip I bought one quickly as it looks like a possible misprice! Very good deal.

If anyone is looking for Tonies or Tonie boxes, they have 15% off using code princess15.

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 29/08/2021 17:31

Thanks for the Joules code ( didnt let me use the pp referral)

Managed to get a slipper and teddy set for 2 of my nieces
Some trainers for DH
A dress for me
And one of the keyrings for my work keys for £50 delivered.

Unihorn · 29/08/2021 17:38

I know it's been mentioned before but another reminder of the Aldi summer sale - good deals on garden and summer stuff, even if it's just to put away.

Character.com also have 20% off backpacks at the moment. Might be a good one for the PP who mentioned a Disneyland trip as they have nice Minnie/Mickey ones reduced to about £8.

WhereIsThisGoing · 29/08/2021 17:41

I'm thinking of getting my niece an LCD writing tablet (one of those that is essentially just a digital notepad) for drawing/learning to write letters. Amazon has loads, but very mixed reviews as usual. Anyone bought one they would recommend?
