Haven’t seen it on here but Joules clearance has an extra 15% off with CLEARANCE15 code

Festive Hohoho fluffy socks £3.95 (without code) would be good in stocking or Christmas Eve boxes
www.joules.com/Women/Accessories/Festive-Fluffy/Socks?size=Adult-4-8&id=210131%7CHOHOHORED%7C4-8

Lots of scarves as it is Joules, but a lovely winter one with great reviews @£10 with code from £29
www.joules.com/Women/Accessories/Stamford/Check-Scarf?size=One-Size&id=210175%7CGRYBLUCHCK%7CONE

Bit summery but the men’s plimsolls are are a bargain coming in at £12 with code instead of £40. All sizes currently available in green or white but some out of stock in blue

CasparBloomberg · 29/08/2021 10:55

Festive socks from Joules were marked down from £9.95. Forgot to include that.

Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting · 29/08/2021 11:04

40% off at photobox with code star40

Amazonmulu · 29/08/2021 11:04

Thanks as ever @Reastie! It's my 4th year and very much getting in the Christmas spirit early!

What's the best console for the whole family - and by that I mean one that my 6yo and DH can enjoy?

Martinisarebetterdirty · 29/08/2021 11:12

We have an Ooni pizza oven - it’s brilliant and we use it a lot (makes for great winter picnics in the back garden too). It’s faffy to start with and you both need to be on it when making the pizza if there are a few of you (the dough needs to be really thin or can stick - use PLENTY of flour on the trays too) but we love ours. One other point to note is ours is the original one but you need somewhere to put it - we use an old bathroom tile at one end of our outside table as you need it reasonably high to be able to use it - we wouldn’t manage it on the floor. Another point to note is our DCs know it is hot so can sit next to it, I wouldn’t want other people’s DCs too close. You can get them with Lakeland codes sometimes.

I haven't really had a look as I'm ridiculously fussy about smellies but grumm has a £5 sale for the next 5 days, hopefully helps someone www.gruum.com/product/5th-birthday-sale/?gcid=2426561&utm_source=direct&utm_medium=email_direct&utm_campaign=5th_birthday_1

Room4onemore · 29/08/2021 11:28

Ordered my daughters fire tablet 10inch while they are down to £94.99

MadeForThis · 29/08/2021 11:30

@Famousthehero thank you for the walkie talkie recommendation. I've saved it on Amazon. Will keep an eye on the price but £19.99 is a great price already!

Wolfcub · 29/08/2021 11:31

That gruum offer is fantastic. Someone needs to stage an intervention and get me off this thread.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/08/2021 11:57

I would @Wolfcub but i would have to leave too……. Never gonna happen

sorryiasked · 29/08/2021 12:04

@Avoca76 there are some here but not bargainous

Oreocrumbs · 29/08/2021 12:09

Hello all, probably not best form to start with a question rather than a bargain 😳 but here goes anyway!

Oodies..... I didn't pay much attention last year as they weren't on the radar, but the words have been muttered by a couple of the children I buy for so now here I am looking at them.

Could anyone advise if they really are worth paying for the brand rather than one of the cheaper options, and if so (I'll be buying 4) they are currently on a bundle at £202. Is £50 each a good price or will there be better bundles/codes etc. I have NHS and student discounts I can try on them as well, but I'm mainly looking for a guide price that others paid last year.

Thank you for any words of wisdom!

Fetchthevet · 29/08/2021 12:34

@DoucheCanoe

Not entirely bargainous but Claire's has a 50% off almost everything sale - I'm trying to be good and only buy fun but functional stuff this year spent £20 but made a good dent on the stocking fillers for 9yo!

I'm a bit late to the fake oodie party but noticed that Sienna oodies are down to £15 at onlinehomeshop so will buy those for DD, DS and teen siblings as I hear they are decent enough :)

Thank you very much for the Claire's tip. Have just ordered some things for my 8 year old, and also some future birthday gifts for her friends.

Thank you also @Reastie for starting these threads.

Sisisimone · 29/08/2021 12:36

Huge sale on at Debenhams today with free delivery with code BANKHOL. They have mens shorts, tshirts, boxers, vests etc starting at £1. Got quite a few bits for DH stocking. Managed to fit a dress and pair of shoes in for myself too Smile

Daisy829 · 29/08/2021 13:19

@Oreocrumbs I’ve never seen a discount on oodies. £50 each is fair. They are amazing. I didn’t want to spend that amount on them last year but I don’t have any regrets. We’ve more than got our monies worth.

Ive had an email from online home store…. They’ve got some offers under £10 inc blankets, bedding, microfibre towels, fleecy crop hoodies, dressing gowns.

user1466167893 · 29/08/2021 13:33

@MauveMagnolia 😂 yes you are probably right. I am taking him away as well if that counts. Men are just such a nightmare though to buy for!!! At least, a pizza oven will generate a whole load of options for follow up Christmas gifts!!

Puffinhead · 29/08/2021 13:35

Re. fake Oodies, I bought the Sienna ones off Amazon last year for my DDs who loved them. But the seams started to come apart so I’ve had to sew them up quite a bit.

user1466167893 · 29/08/2021 13:35

@Martinisarebetterdirty thank you!! I think I will press go on an Ooni, once I track down a Lakeland code! And tip on where to put it very helpful and may need me to think!!

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 29/08/2021 13:40

@user1466167893 we've got an ooni (the wood fired one) and we love it. makes fab pizzas. they're quite a small company though so sometimes the delivery time can be a bit of a wait....just to warn you
but we got ours last year (when everyone else was getting lock down pets) and it's been well used since

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 29/08/2021 13:54

Thanks for the tip about debenhams. I got DH a Burton tshirt and a pair of shorts for £5 delivered!

toolazytothinkofausername · 29/08/2021 13:58

H&M is selling kids ballet clothes. Tulle-skirt dance dress for £9.99 and two piece dance costume for £12.99.

Thisisbatshit · 29/08/2021 14:00

46% cashback (max of £15) going through quidco for notonthehighstreet today. You can buy the naked marshmallows stuff on there so thought it might help some posters. I'm considering a make your own chocolate lolly kit for my children's advent calander.

I've left my quidco referral code on the referrals page if you don't already have an account, though I'm sure we all must by now.

Restlessinthenorth · 29/08/2021 14:14

Thanks for the link to the joules sale. I've just got two lovely key rings. Even though the delivery was a bit steep, two key rings delivered for just over £10 is a bargain! Not entirely sure who they are for, but great for a secret Santa or a standby present.

There is 15% off but it generated me a referral code of 20% off, if anyone wants to make use of it

Restlessinthenorth · 29/08/2021 14:17

This was the key ring, by the way

To get q lakeland discount code (for the ooni or anything else) sign up to the lakeland club (free on their website) a couple of months after I joined they sent a voucher for 20% off anything.

Also ooni did a blackfriday sale last year if you can wait. We couldn't wait and just bought- it's been lots of fun especially for outside entertaining. I have a feeling indoor visitors will be restricted at some point again so nice to cook outside.
