@Arthien thank you! I have just placed that exact order! Will be lovely for us and I'm sure il find someone who will be happy to recieve this!

PattyPan · 27/08/2021 09:42

IWOOT has Articulate for £16.99 which is almost half off RRP and a few pounds cheaper than Amazon.

Accessorize also currently has a sale on and code LONGWKND takes 25% off full price items until Monday. I picked up some cute socks for stocking fillers.

LostMyRubySlippers · 27/08/2021 09:45

Hollister has buy 1 get 1 half price, including sale items- no code needed. Also free postage if you go via the app

lonelyghost · 27/08/2021 09:51

I'm looking for a child's type Oodie blanket, for a girl but patterned. I ordered the adults one from Onlinehome shop and I think they are just going to be too oversized for my 8 year old. I can lots of plain ones, but I know she'll be disappointed if everyone else has a patterned one and she doesn't! Loads on Amazon, but could do with recommendations for better quality ones.
Also looking for best place to buy Switch games please - family multi player ones

Glad I could help! Mine came in a chunky cardboard box too so looked like a nice present. I got one for my sister in law and one as a present from me to me Grin

Dreamingofwalden · 27/08/2021 10:01

@Arthien I bought the hot chocolate shaker last year and was concerned I’d been a 🐑 and caught up with the hype. But I love it and it was brilliant for a treat during lockdown after all the cold/wet walks. I have also been known to use it as a cocktail shaker. I love that it is small and fits into our water bottle basket.

@user1457074170 thanks so much for the Kite heads up. My sister was just saying yesterday she is frustrated with all the same pink clothing for my niece. I’ve found a lovely rainbow jumper, a camper sweatshirt for my nephew and a tractor tshirt for my eldest all for £36 including postage. Brilliant for organic clothing which is great quality and will last and wash well. Their clothing is so soft. Smile

MerylSqueak · 27/08/2021 10:10

I posted yesterday about the Toni and Guy straighteners arriving unboxed. It looks like that might have been a one off. My apologies to the original poster. I'm going to complain to Amazon.

Petal7 · 27/08/2021 10:16

I went real life shopping yesterday to M&S and picked up a couple of t shirts for £2.39 and some swimming trunks for £3.69 in the last of their sale, so may be worth a look. They're lovely and light to send abroad.

user1457074170 · 27/08/2021 10:18

@Dreamingofwalden ah you’re so welcome! I absolutely love Kite 🪁 , the quality is fantastic (especially the knitwear). Hope the presents are a hit Smile

Room4onemore · 27/08/2021 10:36

What’s the hot chocolate shaker?

woodwaj · 27/08/2021 10:56

Morning all. The lego mario starter set is half price at argos for £25. I've just ordered one and used my nectar points and just paid a tenner delivered. That's my nephew ticked off so I'm very happy with that!

PinkDaydreams · 27/08/2021 11:11

B&m have got the Christmas smelly gift sets in, lynx, dove, impulse etc etc

hoopdeloop · 27/08/2021 11:12

Whoever recommended Bear and Rose for the name places markers, thank you so much! I was too late for the reindeer but the little gnomes were on offer and they’ve arrived and are beautiful!

Mine are on their way too, I have a mix of things so can’t wait. Never used Etsy before so would never have found them myself.

Great spot @woodwaj I'm tempted to buy it but I think my son is a little old for it now. I'm sure many others will buy this though
daisyboo1 · 27/08/2021 12:00

Thank you for the Scottish Fine Soaps link/recommendation. They have just arrived and are lovely! Really pleased with my haul!

PeanutButterFalcon · 27/08/2021 12:22

@Arthien thank you

ginnytrap · 27/08/2021 13:07

I just bought my 8 year old some Harry Potter Lego was 11% off so I decided to get it.

Bicnod · 27/08/2021 14:53

[quote CasparBloomberg]New to the Christmas board so don’t know is has been posted before. My kids (teens) love Typo. Fab store to browse if you have one nearby, way too expensive normally, a bit like Smiggle for teenagers.
Anyway, their sale is currently crazy prices and fab. Especially highly recommend the earbuds marked down from £30 to £6. My DD loves hers. Stationary always great quality and recently ordered bags and computer cases to go back to school and they’re great too. DS likes the socks as usually obscure cult references that appeal to his humour.

@CasparBloomberg the reviews say the ear buds come up very large - is that your experience with them? Thinking I might get them for 12 yo DS...

CasparBloomberg · 27/08/2021 15:20

@Bicnod the buds aren't tiny like the little airpod ones so they are very visible outside the ear, so I wonder if that's what the reviews refer to. We bought them in store so knew what they were like. They are worn by DD who is 13 and has tiny ears and thinks they're perfect for her.
Older DS doesn't use them as prefers over ear ones so I don't have another comparison.
What she also likes is how long they hold their charge and charge quickly in the box and that doesnt need recharging often either.

Bicnod · 27/08/2021 15:22

@CasparBloomberg thank you, I'm going to get them, that is an awesome stocking filler!

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 27/08/2021 15:23

Home Bargains had bamboo cosmeti organisers like the one 9n the pic but for £3.99
plus bamboo brush/pen pots for 99p.

They looked really nice.

DoucheCanoe · 27/08/2021 15:43

@CasparBloomberg can I ask how long youve had the earbuds?

Thinking my 15 year old might like them but worried about several reviews that say the sound intermittently drops in one ear after a while!

Number109 · 27/08/2021 15:58

@saharadry yes please if you could!

Marypoppinsisnosaint · 27/08/2021 16:18

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you to you all.

I've just arrived home from a week's holiday to my bear and rose (absolutely beautiful) Scottish fine soap and my coffee order. I'm extremely pleased with them all and wouldn't have found any of it wasn't for this thread.

No bargains as such but had an email from Dobbies this weekend. Club card holders have priority booking for winter events including breakfast with Santa and grottos from this week. It's free to have the card. I got mine especially for this.
