@jumpingintosummer thanks for the inspiration for the thread title, I’m now singing ‘return of the buns’ to the tune of ‘return of the Mac’

Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link or the last word next to the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Thanks for playmobile. I have ordered the fire engine. Does anybody have this already and do you think it can be played with as a stand alone item (my ds has a small hot wheels size fire engine which he likes to zoom around the house with and pretend to rescue cats and put out fires with so thinking it may be an upgrade) or do I need to get any more of the accessories to go along with?

Oh I'm so tempted by that playmobil school...

Might have been me getting the last mascaras last night 😬 (ordered 3 of the £5 ones and another reduced to £10) excellent deal with the £10 off. Thank you! I did the same and did 2 separate orders with free click and collect to get 2 free palettes and use the £10 off twice, one order was £10 and the other £18.

@rainingcats the fire engine is fine as a stand alone, it comes with lots of accessories.
Be warned if this is your first playmobil item that it takes ages to build. It was the first thing we bought for DS and hadn't appreciated how many little bits need putting together! If he's too little/ not into Lego type things then it would be worth building in advance with a glass or two of something strong

Thank you! Will definitely try and build in advance to reduce my stress levels on Christmas morning!

@rainingcats my DS has this Playmobil fire engine and it's really good, it's comes with lots of accessories. We do have the ambulance as well and they work together or can be used as stand alone toys. The Fire engine has lots of little compartments with bits and bobs in - axe, tools, brush, cones, torch etc and and lots of movable parts. My DS likes to take it apart and put it back together and just loves all the extras

Sounds great! Just had a look and DS would love the ambulance as well so might suggest that to grandparents as a gift idea :)
