Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

Morning all, just bought DS the scoobydoo playmobil mystery machine on Amazon for £35 down from £50. I also got a Super Mario Uno for £5.50 for his stocking

I hadn’t realised how much I was looking forward to Christmas until this thread popped up! So lovely to ‘see’ you all again. No bargains yet but am awaiting The Body Shop advent calendars later this month. Expensive I know but DD really appreciated it last year.

Will remember to use bold for bargains - that was an excellent introduction last year.

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting what about a bath bomb type calendar? DD had one around that age.

Always worth keeping an eye on museum shop sales for random gifts. Greenwich Museums sale includes lots of Cutty Sark stuff and somewhat oddly half price NASA/moon/space/ astro stuff which I know people have been looking for in previous years.
Thank you have an uncle who was in the merchant navy and space mad DC will have a proper browse but at a quick look its great

Not sure if anyone will remember from last year but I was ordering Christmas presents in hospital after my c-section and he’s 1 tomorrow!! 😭

Thanks for this I got some great stocking fillers for my nieces. I actually did 2 separate orders to get better deal on the 3 for 2 offer cause I had a mixture of higher and lower priced items.

My wonky candles melts arrived today. Packaged beautifully and even through the boxes they have a nice smell - not chemical like at all.

Will update when I have a go with some later.

What kind of advent calendars do 10 year olds+ like? DD says she's outgrown lego ones.
My 13 year old has had a tinc one for the past couple of years. 11 year old has had a Smiggle one. Both fairly decent.

Glad to be back on here! Last year I got nice scarves from Dunedin, the bargain wax lyrical candles and some really cheap & fab slipper socks but sadly missed out on the cinnamon buns & the puppets!! Lol. Looking forward to all the hilarity again this year xxx

They've been up and down this year already so defo keep an eye out for them!! Although I bought a wax lyrical trio set in a metal tin and the candles smell rank 🤢 also look very cheap quality.

Tofu Cute, which a poster mentioned on another thread have Pokemon themed sweets and drinks, I've ordered some for stockings.
