Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

Ooh I feel like I'm behind this year! I have been dipping into the prequel thread a bit but haven't made much of a start at all. This thread starting has inspired me to get cracking! Before I discovered these threads a few years ago I was always a last minute shopper and I can't believe how much better the whole festive season feels when you've got everything sorted well in advance for an absolute bargain!

I have made a good start for youngest DS and am working through oldest, although now he is 12 it is proving difficult for new ideas.

Checking in! Although we are trying to stick to minimum gifts this year. Its easier to resist the bargains now dds are getting older and have very specific tastes!

And sign up to the entertainer birthday club for 20% off 2 weeks before birthday, can add up to 10 so I have a few in oct,nov and dec to buy Xmas gifts! Works on existing offers. If you don't automatically get one, message on facebook/email and they will give you one.

Sign up for build a bear birthday club, for £5 off £25 spend in birthday month, again you can have quite a few so have some leading up to Xmas. Doesn't work on offers or the newest range usually.

Does anyone know if home bargains are still selling octonauts or if they have discontinued the range please? A couple of months ago my three local stores had loads, son over the last couple of weeks has become obsessed with octonauts and none of my stores has anything at all now!! Typical isn't it?! I tried asking a collegaue but she said she was new and wasn't sure.

I’m under a new name this year but can’t wait for the weeks ahead of reading this thread. I’m struggling this year with mine all getting older it’s harder buying in advance (or finding bargains)

Last xmas I bought older DC 11 a Dunhelm fleece cuddler pillow. It's huge and wrapped up it made their very small prezzie stash look more substantial. Also picked up and idea from here of creating a movie night hamper which again bulked it out for little cost.

Pound toy also have a bogof sale at the moment I can’t vouch for quality though as I’ve never purchased before but maybe ok for stockings
