Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

@Daisy829 it was the guinea pig ones that drew me in but after all that they are out of stock in the size I want. I have emailed to ask if they'll be back during the offer period.

If you’re looking for quirky good quality socks/boxers, Dedoles has a good sale on at the moment.

Zavvi also has a good sale, with some board games like Articulate and Harry Potter Cluedo. They’ve also got various Playmobil, Lego, Brio etc… lots of Harry Potter stuff too

I second the recommendation for deciles socks. I bought ds some men's Harry Potter ones last year and they were fab

Has anyone seen any octonauts toys in store please? Home bargains used to do them up until a few weeks back (when son wasn't into them, hes now obsessed!) I can find them on Amazon but the prices are making my toes curl after seeing how cheap it all was in hb

@PinkDaydreams I found the Octonaut toys so hard for the kids to play with, so glad we asked MIL to buy a second hand job lot on ebay. I'm with you that the Amazon prices are crazy!

Bought some stuff from Rex London, the cookbook, velvetiser and pre-ordered the spicery kit.

also ordered some stuff from Odd Balls which my DH loves. They have England and British and the Irish Lions boxer shorts 20%off plus you get to choose free gift with spend over £35. I chose flip flops but you can also get a hat (we have two of them already- they are superwarm) or sunglasses

Where i come from we give small gifts on the 6th of December so I for my DD couple of Christmas books and Christmas squishmallows to play with thorough December

I'll keep an eye on eBay thank you. I'm sure there's a magazine too so hopefully I can get some figures from a mag.

I'm still on the prowl for a paw patrol Robo dog if anyone sees one going cheap. I'm hoping to scour the charity shops in the next few months and get lucky! I reckon one will fit into DSs final advent drawer 🤞he will go crazy for it

Pound toys had some octonaut figures a couple of days ago.. possibly glow in the dark ones? I imagine they're the type that come with a magazine rather than the expensive sets but my kids wouldn't have cared!

Toys for a pound are excellent at making sure you get one of each of you order a few and they are available. I have ordered loads of blind bags before and never had a duplicate

@mcmooberry thanks for the link. I’ve just brought our dog 3 new collars. I don’t know how he’s going to wear them all at once but I couldn’t decide! Found a nice purple one to match the purple bow tie I got for him yesterday. Poor dog!
