Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

Mine have just arrived!

pinknail · 12/08/2021 14:54

@Mumto3thatsme thank you very much!

@Beaglemum93 just ordered some thank you!

Petal7 · 12/08/2021 14:59

Thank you so much for the Typo sale tip. Am really thrilled with the burger cushion and pegboard light box. Both look much more expensive than £6 and are a great size for bulking out presents too!

Thank you so much to @Reastie and everyone who contributes to these threads and make them such a lovely place.

cravingmilkshake · 12/08/2021 15:10

@PepperPepperMan I will paste the link but it's back up to £6.33 now. I paid £4 when a previous poster posted the link so maybe keep an eye on it.

I know the BakedIn cinnamon buns were popular before, but has anyone tried the mug cake mixes? Seems like an ok price for a pack of 9, was wondering if they were worth getting?

@oneofthose I saw some elemis on brand alley, you can get £15 if you are a new member, can't remember what the minimum spend for that is tho

Pebblo · 12/08/2021 15:31

Ah love this thread, will add if I find anything good. I've bought DDs main present as I'm worried they'll sell out, so only really after small bits now.

Scout2016 · 12/08/2021 15:54

Not stockings but there's a company called Colour Your World who do tie dye toy sacks in a range of sizes that can be done in colours of your choice and with vinyl lettering / stars added on.

Thats a great deal for the spicery kit, their kits are fab, there is also free postage. There may be some referral codes on the other thread maybe get a further discount on any orders.

Ck91 · 12/08/2021 16:08

@WeeFae
I’ve brought them many times from the Vodafone rewards. They always go down a treat! The brownie ones are our favourites! I would recommend.

Grrrpredictivetex · 12/08/2021 16:14

@stressbucket1

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but Dunnes stores do a hooded blanket for kids. Similar to Oodie for £12. They have adult ones for £17 too. www.dunnesstores.com/p/kids-hooded-blanket/7566101 hooded blanket
Thank you bought 2 hoodies.
CatOfTheLand · 12/08/2021 16:21

Can highly recommend Poundtoy. Their customer service is fantastic!

I bought all my stocking fillers and gifts in x2 lots so that I could add twice the amount of 1p bargains that were on offer that week (things I was actually going to buy anyway).

I think I've actually finished my shopping already and it's only August 😖 which means instead of saving money I'm going to end up buying twice as much, aren't I?!

Scout2016 · 12/08/2021 16:27

Just bought 2 Spicery kits - thanks for flagging, 2 difficult friends sorted- and stuck my referral code on the thread.

CatOfTheLand · 12/08/2021 16:28

@katmarie

I'm looking for a good non chocolate advent calendar for a just 4yo, he had the Thomas the tank engine one last year with the mini trains and loved it, still plays with the trains now. Anyone have any suggestions?
Schleich, Playmobil or Peppa Pig?

I use a refillable Lidl one and collect small figures from charity shops, bargains from this thread, Facebook etc and make my own.

The last two years we've had Peppa Pig but this year might do dinosaurs or farm toys.

I save the jokes from Christmas crackers and pull off the doors from chocolate advent calendars (where is says things like 'five days to go' or 'tell a Christmas joke' on the inside) to pop in too.

oneofthose · 12/08/2021 16:29

Thank you @noodledoodler I've found it!

I've seen playdoh ones before- or you can buy x40 tubs for £10 and get some cutters and DIY.

Hot wheels ones look good too.

Have seen everything I've mentioned reduced recently on Amazon

katmarie · 12/08/2021 16:42

fab advent calendar ideas, thank you :)

oneofthose · 12/08/2021 16:51

@katmarie my son loved this one when he was 3 still plays with it! It comes down to £20 on amazon so worth keeping an eye on it.

Just a warning regarding the joules outlet on eBay, I've had to send something back as the stitching and quality was horrendous! Advertised as 'sample' but said should be no issue with quality......well I defo won't be ordering a sample item again off eBay. I've bought loads of regular goods from the joules eBay outlet and will continue to do so but will avoid the sample items.

We received one as a gift last year and I was 🙄 but we LOVE it.
Great price

This seems like a great price. I remember people going crazy for them last year. Does anyone remember how much they were going for on QVC?
MissMarple0203 · 12/08/2021 18:46

@littlesquirells think it was £80

Shufflebumnessie · 12/08/2021 19:06

Lego 41909 Dots Mermaid bracelet set down to £2 on Amazon.

Beko US jigsaws on Amazon- some are reduced plus a £2 discount voucher. Just got a 1000 piece Venice scene for MiL for £3.70

Shufflebumnessie · 12/08/2021 19:10

Sorry that should be Becko US (not Beko) for the jigsaw.

Daisy829 · 12/08/2021 19:10

Aldi have some of the Harry Potter items reduced…..jigsaw & card games down to £1.99
