I think we have bats too. I definitely used to see them at my parents' house.

No bats here unfortunately. Has loads near the house I grew up in though. Dsis used to be terrified of them 🦇

My night was as rock & roll as expected. I managed to pull the mane out of the gloves and have crocheted a new curly one which I'll try and attach tomorrow although we're out for a fair bit of the day taking nephew out for lunch as a birthday treat 🍔

I went to bed at 8.30 last night to catch up on some sleep, and DD managed to sleep until now, which is her longest sleep in weeks. Clearly the excitement of today wore her out!

We haven't decided whether we're done having kids yet, but once we do, DH will be getting the snip, or else he will be very lonely!

He's experiencing a little stiffness after dangling off a ladder with his hammer yesterday. snigger 🤭 utter filth on here tonight!

Off to Sains for a big food shop in a bit when they open other than a bit of freezer tetris when we get back, I don't really plan on doing much today. That might change though. I can hear Charlie bouncing around upstairs, so there may be carnage. He has such heavy paws!!😻
Still no rain. MrPussyCat will be deployed later with his Hose of Death, or possibly his Watering Can of Doom.

Just had 9.5hrs of uninterrupted sleep, bliss!

I'm envious of all the sleep. If I get more than 6 hours these days I'm lucky hurrah for peri menopause.

Puss, our forecast rain is no longer on the forecast. I'm very annoyed!

I'm trying to get it in in case the reversal works fluffy. Shame sleep can't be stored!

I got woken up at 5:30 but dd having a shower very annoying.

We're forecast a few showers later today and heavy rain again Monday.

5.30?! I'd be rather cross with that! 💤

I wasn't up early but I had a few glasses of wine last night and now dd is dancing around the living room singing something at full volume.

Fluffy why do 3 year olds have to have such high pitched voices?

So they didn't get lost when we lived in caves. Sadly we haven't evolved out of it yet. Sigh.

most I was fine with the scissors...but I am v jealous of 9.5hrs sleep (that's 2 nights worth)

Wreck I do that sometimes although my early morning record was 3.30am peri period followed by cleaning the shower and 2 loads of washing (bathmat, towels, pjs, sheet...)
DH went into the spare room and slept for hours until I chucked dreamies onto the landing and sent the cats in 😹😹

So far my peri periods aren't that bad. Very clotty and light bleeding goes on forever afterwards. The most inefficient periods in the world!

I am dreading peri menopause

Have my sympathy puss & Fluffy. Too early for peri menopause here but the delights of endo & pcos are similarly lovely. Alternating between light but never ending periods and random bouts of flooding - with overwhelming PMT chucked in to top it all off.
Worst night here was a few years ago - 2 episodes of flooding in one night meant I showered at 1am and again at 4:30, having to wash pjs, bedding and towels each time.
Poor DH - he wanted to help but he's not great with blood and went a bit green 🙄 He didn't go back to bed though, just faffed around me trying to help.

I'm currently looking at the unicorn gloves on one side and the newly made curly manes next to them. Someone please kick my arse and make me sew them together....

most I'm out the other side and my gynae was surprised that I'd found it relatively easy. My periods were normal but got less frequent until they stopped about two and a half years ago. Apart from some insomnia and 1 hot flush I got away unscathed. I decided that my hormonal horrors were earlier in life (PCOS, fertility problems and 4 miscarriages) so Mother Nature cut me a break on the menopause.

My mum had a pretty easy time of it so I'm hoping I'll be the same!
