Thank you for all the crafty love. I also do a lot of baby knitting Fluffy but I'm part of a huge family and there always seems to be a baby to knit for.

It's raining here and has been since last night. I'm hoping for a dry day tomorrow - the landscaper is starting our patio and DS is doing his DoE expedition. It looks like rain overnight Saturday/Sunday though so he's going to get wet.

Woolly you're very talented. The only thing I've been able to do is crochet 2 granny squares. It was made into a couple of blankets. Although mine wasn't good the blanket turned out gorgeous.

Woolly your knitting is lovely. I think my fave is the white cardi - there's something extra snuggly about a baby in something knitted and white.

I made quite a few crocheted octopus for the ward DNephew was in. I made him one and they commented on it - I should really check if they still want them and make more.

I've been at the dentist this morning. I knew I needed one filling today, but apparently, because I couldn't hear properly for his mask, I missed that I needed a second one. They're one on each side, obviously, so my whole mouth is numb, and I can't eat anything yet!

I also can't have normal amalgam fillings because I'm breastfeeding, so I can't wait to check these babies out in the mirror - wonder if I look like that baddy from James Bond...

Firefly DHs absolute favourite photo of me (which is the one that comes up on his phone if I call him) is a selfie I sent him after having 2 fillings. I'm trying to smile in it and it's a grimace because I could only move a tiny bit of my mouth 😂

Photo of the gloves - once I've added a gold unicorn horn and some eyes I'm probably going to end up removing the mane and making a different version because I don't like it 🙄

I have just started LoD so fear my life will be lost to it for a while Plenty of opportunity to cross stitch along to it. This is my current piece, almost finished.

Lots of stuff happening in my life recently. We are in full swing with our move to North Wales. Told we should be moving Mid July which would be perfect as gives us the summer holidays to settle in :) have started packing, feels a bit overwhelming at this stage but will just keep chipping away at it.

We have also made the decision that we do want another DC so are doing research on vasectomy reversals and hope to have that done by the end of September.

I didn't know your DH had had a vasectomy. DH refuses as he could have after effects. I scornfully asked if he meant like the issues I've suffered since having the kids. He looked a bit shamed, but still didn't go for it. 🙄

I worked with someone who's partner refused to have a vasectomy because it hurt. Said friend had 5 children - 2 by C-section. I think she knew a bit about pain.

DH said that after he heard my perineum cut open with a pair of scissors (a sound he says he will never forget) that it was his turn. Poor guy now has to have it reversed

It has been a long day Woolly and the banter has been a bit near to the knuckle this afternoon. The joys of healthcare humour.

No need here for a Hose of a Death anyway why. It's pissed down all day. The cover on our patio furniture is nicely doubling as an additional water butt and even the amorous wood pigeons are taking shelter.

DS's after school trip with the cadets was cancelled as it was too wet. Tickled me as he's a navy cadet and it was a water sport day 🤷🏻‍♀️
