I'm awake too. Or half awake!

I am awake and have been since my alarm went off at 05.30. Although awake is probably not the best word. I am doing my favourite thing of being slumped at the end of my bed coming round 🤣

It's the first time I've slept in until 6 for months! 😂

I managed to get back to sleep by 5:30 for an hour. I'm blaming the heat as it's very stuffy in our bedroom despite windows being open.
I've woken up all congested and with dry, sore eyes so I'm guessing the pollen count is high again.

Why I tend to jump up because I always need a wee then spend 15 mins or so on the comfy conservatory chair coming around 😂 DH calls it my 'gormless time' because I'm incapable of doing much until it's over 😂

It is the season now , as soon as Wimbledon is in sight , the British strawberries arrive . They have the best flavour .

I have booked DS and DD Covid vaccines it will be a relief when they're protected .

Thanks ( I did check they wanted it done BTW , not just booked it and plan how I'll manhandle two adults who are actually much taller than me into the car and sit on them at the vaccine centre)

When I booked DS to give blood he was a bit meh but I bribed him.
Luckily he didn't say "I;m ony here for the biscuits and she made me " !

It's lovely here. We're forecast rain on Sunday though. Thank god! Don't recall when it last rained.

I've potted on my final 3 butternut squash plants and weeded them front garden so far today. #productive

We've had non stop rain since....Wednesday night? Doesn't look like it's going to stop until tomorrow morning. Might have a nap later. It's making me feel Christmassy.

I don't want that much rain! I'll take a day of it off your hands though!

About 6 weeks ago it was cold and miserable on Thursday, which is the day the kids' beds get changed. I put Christmas bedding on!

Morning. It's meant to be cloudy, warm-ish but dry today, same as yesterday. We haven't had any rain for at least 10 days and it's all muggy, like we need a storm to clear it.

Your strawberries look good Fluffy. Ours keep getting eaten by birds so I doubt we're going to end up with any 🙄

So far I've stuck the dishwasher on, had a shower and logged on to work. Not very productive!

Good news though - the patio is finally finished. The guy came back yesterday as he needed to cut a few of the slabs and 'point' the path. Just need the edging to go in now and that bit will be done.
We spent a bit of time out there last night moving the garden furniture and plant pots on to the patio and getting it how we want it any I have to say I'm really happy with it.

Overnight rain on Wed and at the moment it is pissing down.
Hopefully my plants are enjoying the rain but not being wrecked by the force of the downpour .
DH id relieved of watering duty for now

We have a snail problem here and a rabbit / rodent problem at the allotment. I get very few from the allotment as they seem to be for the wildlife only. 🙄

I need to get jam sugar this evening.

They'd need a shed/shelter and some day to day care but rescues are full of them .
