Here we go. The LoD season finale tribute thread!

That's doing really well for this year's lavender, Crazy. Was it relatively big when you got it (i.e a few quid for the plant)? I bought plugs and they won't flower til next year if they bother to live that long!.

I've attached one of last year's plugs with bonus nettle / dandelion in shot which is doing well!

I've had a 45 file dump in the last few weeks, hence being so busy. I'm coming to the end of reviewing them now, but then I get another one! I'm the senior solicitor on the team, so I get most of the problem files passed over to fix. Good job I'm a miracle worker!

My wildflower seeds at home have done nothing. Thankfully last year's self-seeded poppies seeded again, so we have loads. My potted flowers also self seeded so there's a few amongst the chives and rosemary too.

My allotment ones have done better.

I was at Fireflygal too. Most confusing!

This is my potted lavender. It was being given away by one of our neighbours who was moving and couldn't take all the pots with her. It's doing better than the wildflowers. The bees in the bee hotel like it too.

Mine started out as 2 tiny £1 plants which I planted together. I've killed enough lavender plugs to know I can't be trusted with them 😂

I've never had thyme go so well either. At least I have something to offer the bees 🐝

Hopefully the files will slow down soon Fluffy.

I've just logged back on and done a 10 min task I'd forgotten. Going downstairs to start crocheting (the gloves I've said I'm going to do for the last week)...

Morning. I woke up stupidly early for no good reason. I'm going to have an early night tonight as I'll need to get up early to water the allotment tomorrow.

Sainsbury's will be here shortly (7.30-8.30), so I need to get up soon. And a child has just appeared...

Good morning. My ds woke me at 5am, managed to get him and me back to sleep but then the dog decided to show us all how clever he was by opening 2 doors downstairs and jumping over a safety gate and then jumping on our bed. He was very proud of himself, I was less impressed and I'm not sure the cat he landed on will ever get over it.
Looks like another warm day here, which I hate haha.

Morning. Opposite issues going on here - I think our power must have gone off overnight so our alarms didn't go off. Ddog woke us at 7:20 when he couldn't cross his legs anymore.

Yet another boring day planned here - work, washing, tidying, watering plants, crochet...

Morning all. Beautiful sunny day but I'm headed into the garage to continue painting the Forth Road Bridge shoe cupboard. I'm on the last day or thereabouts - I've got one door that needs a second coat and I can see little patches here and there where it will need a touch up. I'll leave it to dry until tomorrow and then reassemble it. All I'll need to do then is persuade DS to actually use 🤦🏻‍♀️

Morning! Sorry I've been AWOL we've just been so busy. It's dds birthday Thursday and I'm taking her and two friends to Thorpe park for the day. I feel a bit nervous, not sure if it's the sole responsibility of other children where they could get scared or if I'm scared as it's been ages since I went on scary rollercoasters

The weather has been so amazing. It was 29° here yesterday, bit cooler today but still nice.

It's another beautiful sunny day here today, so I've done what any sane person would do and hidden inside while ordering Christmas presents

Aldi have got LEGO choose and build your own adventure books as their special buys. DS is just getting into cyoa, and it encourages him to read, so I've bitten the bullet and paid postage...

We managed to get some shed felt from B&Q, but still need to go to Wickes for some timber and replacement tubes for the light in the garage, so that's a job for 7am tomorrow😴 It's funny how DH relies on me and my card to pay for stuff 🤔 anyone would think he drives a Jag old Top Gear reference 😂

Firefly I've still got some of my lego. If it wasn't for 2 very nosey cats, I'd probably re-build my technic car. As it is, they'd probably eat most of it or sit on it 😹

Woolly hope your painting went well.
I need to touch up paint on our dresser (it was a pine Welsh dresser but we painted it when we moved) as it has some patches but I keep forgetting. Maybe I'll do that later - it's only a 15 min job.

Welcome back Wreck! Enjoy Thorpe Park - I used to love rollercoasters as long as you didn't hang upside down for too long but I think I may have lost my nerve as I've got older.

Firefly I'm with you. I sat in my back garden in the sun for 15 mins while on my lunch break and that was enough for me!

puss where you a Top Gear fan? DH & I recently watched the Clarkson programme about him running a farm that he owns. I hate Clarkson and spent a long time rolling my eyes at him but the actual show was interesting.

I went awol again for no real reason. I seem to sit down with a cup of tea and before I know it I say for 2 hours on Twitter and my phone is about to die.

I haven't done too much today. We have a new sunshed thing and one of the doors arrived broken and a very unusual chap with no teeth and a thick Somerset accent arrived to take it away again. It took a few minutes to work out what exactly he wanted 😂

I haven't been to Thorpe Park for years Wreck although I am not a fan of rides particularly.

Last time I went to Thorpe Park was about 3-4 years ago. My DD wanted to go for Hallowe'en but there was no way we were letting her travel to the other side of London, stay till late then travel back (I think she was 15 r just 16)

So I offered to drive them (DD and 2 mates) which meant I had to go in too .
We were there 10am-10pm . Went on Saw Ride (twice )
And they fell asleep on the way home , little toads , leaving me with the radio for company !

I'm not good on twirling round rides though .

I've never been to Thorpe Park. I can't say I feel I've missed out!

I potted on 16 chilli plants at lunch time. That's 41 potted on now! I'm running out of space. 🌶🌶🌶 I think I've 16 or so left to do.

I don't do theme parks 🤮 so I admire your bravery Wreck

No plans yet but we might go up to see SIL early next month - it depends on how MIL's minor op goes

I've been to the allotment and watered and put DS' school sunflower in the ground. There were 2, but one got eaten! 🐌🐌

I seem to have loads of empty space this year. I've no idea how! 🤷‍♀️
