Where I used to work we had an on-site IT department that refused to come and sort out any problems until you'd tried switching it off and on again. Then they'd come and do it for themselves just in case we'd lied about doing it 😀

I've watched enough IT crowd so I dunno how I made such a rookie mistake 😄
At least I figured it out before DH came home, I never would have heard the end of it.

DS's report was very good. He's doing well in the subjects he's chosen for GCSE thank goodness.

I've just been to put some beans in at the allotment. So many weeds! Impossible to keep on top of. Sigh.

I always tell our IT team that I've turned things off and on again before contacting them. They think we're all Luddites. 🙄

Woolly I'm afraid my DHs clothes have become darker and more limited as he's gotten older. If it helps, my dad has gone the other way - he has no colour coordination or dress sense at all but he's usually colourful (he came to mine in pink shorts and blue 'grandad' peppa pig T-shirt on Friday then wore dark green shorts with an orange and navy T-shirt out for lunch on Sunday) 😂

I am rubbish with IT. I used to work in a building of over 1000 people but all 5 people on the IT team knew me

We have success here with the washing machine - first load is on now and will be put on the line in the morning. And even better, DH apologised for his mood yesterday and did it on his own 👍🏻

Morning! What a lovely day. I'm back at the allotment doing more watering!

Crazy, he's fine. Just everything he does - or doesn't do - is irritating. I took my shears home last October for him to sharpen. Kept mentioning them. He did a half arsed job yesterday. Frustrating.

On a long day today. I did a few hours bank yesterday so kind of up to speed on things.

I once broke the whole interwebz when I worked at a very well known cereal company. It was in my first week and all it took was one button press! #Proud

Morning all! Hope you don't mind me joining . Another lovely day but I'm working so will only get to enjoy it on the school run. Speaking of IT issues, I've been at my new job since March and still can't login to Jabber to make and receive phone calls. IT seems to have given up on me. Oh well .

why well done on breaking the interwebz a former colleague forgot to tell anyone to do weekly back-ups when she quickly went on mat leave (baby was 7wks early) so when it crashed 6 months later...there was nothing.

I was multitasking at the allotment: propping the hose up to water spuds, onions etc like a sprinkler while I also went to get cans of water for the pumpkins, beans and peas.

There was a rabbit on my plot when I got there. Not good but cute. 🐰

Was it after your tender plants Fluffy? Or queueing up waiting for a drink?

We've had a spud failure 😨 Just one plant out of about a dozen but it's the first time it's happened and DH has taken it personally.

Blimey, it's a bit toasty in the east if england today! I've been packing ready for moving house at the end of the month, but had to hunt through and unpack my sandals. I wasnt expecting it to go from winter coat and gloves to stroppy dresses and sandals in the space of a fortnight.

I was the office junior in my first full time job. My responsibilities including filling and switching on the urn for morning and afternoon tea break. Apparently it also included switching it off 😂. It still hadn't been replaced when I left three months later.

Morning ☀️ Another scorcher here today. Washing load 1 is out and load 2 is in the machine. I take back what I said about my machine being small (although it is in comparison to some of yours). Old one was only 5kg. This one is 8kg and it feels huge, plenty big enough for the 2 of us.

I'm back with you on the annoying DH front Fluffy. Mine is WFH this morning and he's just disturbing my routine and annoying me.

Woolly I think we're having some plant failures here too. The sage was going very well but is starting to look a bit 'wilted' and one of our strawberry plants hasn't made it.
I don't think we'll get any strawberries anyway - so far we had 2 that were starting to ripen and turning red but the bloody birds stole them both 🙄

Crazy I'm waiting for DH to finish faffing about with the hose to put my 2nd load on. You should be able to wash the duvet not just the covers with 8kg

Thanks for the welcomes and the reminder that I need to check our strawberry plants and probably pull out some weeds. We've been renovated since moving in in September and any gardening has been pretty neglected but especially the strawberry plants.

Really want to get out to the shops and particularly Hobbycraft this week for some wreath-making supplies. Could possibly find time tomorrow evening as the kids' jujitsu class isn't on this week.
