Morning!

It's very clammy this morning! And ominously cloudy, though no rain is forecast. Having said that, yesterday's rain didn't count as rain either! There's not even a few mm in our collection buckets.

I'll water the allotment first thing tomorrow. I do want the plants to put down deep roots, however, so should potentially ignore them!

Grey here, but the sun keeps peeking through and warming everywhere up.
We've been to Sains at 7, I've stripped the bed and swapped the 13.5tog 🥵🥵 duvet for a 4.5tog, 2nd load of washing is in with 2 more to go - it's like a launderette in my kitchen - I've watered the 🥔🥔 DH has moaned for Britain mowed the front lawn and is now red and sweaty pottering faffing in the garden. I will be observing 2m social distancing until he has a shower 🤫

Fluffy DD is a Christmas lover (actually both she and DS have been indoctrinated have the Christmas gene!). She enjoys all the prep!
Woolly- I am still trying to re-organise DS's room but he keeps to stay! I want him to help sort out his stuff so it can be nicer for them when they come - it is a big room but cluttered.
re freezing stuff for drinks, I always slice and freeze left over lemons, oranges and limes and use them in pimms in the summer,
I am re-organising my plants today - moving a few things round and trying not to kill anything- wish me luck!

It's warm but cloudy here today. I'm hoping it cools down a bit but stays dry 🤞🏼

I had my second jab this morning and my arm is sore. And I have 2 big meetings, one of which is going to be a polite, professional argument which I'm dreading. Imposter syndrome and all that, and I have to do it on my own 😔

Roll on 4:30 when I can finish. I have no plans this evening whatsoever, just walk the dog, eat whoever DH cooks for tea, tv and crochet.

Good luck with moving your plants Constantly we've repotted a couple and they seem to be thriving. Give them plenty to drink and some liquid fertilizer, and apparently trees prefer a square hole 🤯

Oh dear, what a typo 😂😂 Also, I was wrong as it turns out. DH has booked us a table at the local pub for tea because he's away this weekend. I think he thinks I'm sad / upset / annoyed at being left on my own - I'm actually quite looking forward to it as we've pretty much lived in each other's pockets for a year!

DH and DS are visiting MIL so i took advantage of having the house to myself and I have finished cleaning my DDs old bedrooms, tidied DS's room and changed his bed. Then I rubber brushed the stairs and damp dusted the stair carpet - 2 long haired DDs meant it needed doing. I've just had a lovely takeaway curry and I'm going to do some knitting while I finish my glass of wine. I also need to water the hanging baskets before I take root.

Can I join the countdown? I've spent the last 4 hrs in A & E with dd, used the time to start my Chrsitmas amazon wishlist. Brought a little bit of joy to some very dull surroundings.
