He's one of those people that you see on Mumsnet all the time who can't understand that lots of people don't have Amazon prime now, Uber, just eat and fifty different supermarkets on their door step. I'm sure the general public will have that though, there's lots of surgeries doing them round here, my nearest one at present is 12 miles away though.

Removals van will be here at 8.00 tomorrow, and with a bit of luck, by this time tomorrow we will be in our new house.

I have a cunning plan though before everything goes up in the loft. I'm going to categorise out Christmas Decs and other bits and bobs, so this Christmas I won't need to get every box down - just the ones I actually want up!

I have (in my private list) on Amazon a "She wee" device that I keep meaning to buy...for camping purposes but would be useful on longer car journeys also....just sayin

@BiddyPop one of my friends got one for Christmas, she was a bit but they are very handy for camping and vaccination vacations

I've seen the she-wees - I'm pretty sure I'd end up with a wet foot or leg

We've had sleet / snow forecast. We don't often get snow, so we shall see once we're up! It sounds wet when people drive past!

What did Graham do with his she-wee? I loved his Friday night BBC show, but didn't watch him on C4.

I fell down the rabbit hole of VW camper vans last night...not sure now, I think I'd need something with a few more home comforts like a heater and a loo they're quite expensive for basically a van with a camping stove and a futon in the back.🤨😂 I could take a leaf out of old Top Gear episodes and convert an estate car? 😁😎

Morning. I've got to home school today, dd will be ok but ds will need supervising/encouraging. He seems keen at the moment and there's a teams check in at 11:30. They're getting full days of learning sent home now so that's good. They also sent home home learning packs which had: plain paper (30 sheets), a book with lined pages, a book with grid pages, a ruler, pencil, glue stick and sharpener which I thought was really nice. DD's teams check in is at 8:45 so I had better get a move on.

No snow here but when I got back to my car after work yesterday the windscreen had iced over .

I was Judgey watching Emmerdale yesterday as Kim Tate still had her decorations up after 12th Night . Not that Kim would climb a ladder to put them away or anything practical .

70s I haven't watched Emmerdale in YEARS (possibly a couple of decades ) - and can't believe that Kim is still going!!

We have another (slightly heavier) Victoria Sponge sugar dusting of snow that fell over breakfast again, but with the wind having swung around from NW to NE overnight, there is a greater chance of the snow "shadow" forming from the Irish Sea over the Isle of Mann - which was by far the biggest influence during the 2009/2010 episodes...it also means there are a couple of planes going overhead which I haven't heard in a long while, so they must have changed runway at the airport too.

It's still freezing here. Heavy frost and -3° dh has had to take my car to work as his handbrake was frozen.

Graham Norton used to have a segment with strange things you could buy on the early days of the internet. The stories on that show were wild.
