Which advent calendars has everyone started today?

I've just opened day 1 of my Holland and Barrett one, really lovely day moisturizer and dd has had a Lindt breakfast . What has everyone else got?

DD 8 has multicoloured Smiggle pen. DS 12 is too old mature and sophisticated he says for a calendar so he has some extra Lego instead (a mature and sophisticated Knight Bus)

Wine for me, beer for DH, bath one for DD.

We also share a chocolate one, felt pockets we fill with chocolate each year and take turns.

Dh and I don't have one. I've never had one since I was a child though I would love a Liberty one!

DD has a bodyshop one and it was a surprise for her, she's delighted and got a mango handcream in the first door.

The kids are opening their Shaun the Sheep calendars this evening (I’m quite excited about playing with the little figurines myself...).

Sounds like the jam and tea ones have been popular this year!

Look Fantastic - my November birthday present. Lovely blusher in a gold case today.

A Haribo one and personalised ones that we fill, each pocket with a pound coin and a chocolate or lollipop. Adults don't bother.

DS1 - Pukka tea
DD - Hogwarts
DS2 - Reeses

Teenage DC has a hot chocolate one (that they really wanted). I also got them some number chocolates to go with it (still seem perplexed by having no door to open with those so not so much of a hit!). DH and I don't have one.

The kids have the wooden Noah's Ark and the Hot Wheels one. They're not very Christmassy though.

Tempted to get a late one for myself now though, after seeing these lovely posts! They'll be reduced now, right??

DS has one we filled for him. It's got mini thomases in it.

He also has the kids hotel chocolat one from his grandma

Liberty beauty advent calendar.

I've got the macmillan 24 days of beauty one from boots. I've never had a beauty calender before but it was half price so I used boots points :)

Today I got liz earle soothing eye lotion.

I also have a kit kat one

DH got me a Cath Kidston one.
DS1 has Lego HP, DS2 has a Haynes electronic one and DD has a Shleich pony one. DH has a beer one from a collaboration of Edinburgh breweries.

AIBU to be disappointed that the lovely Divine chocolate advent calendar with the global map illustration and religious imagery has a flipping Union Jack in a heart shape behind December 1st? I really don't think a political message is appropriate in an advent calendar. Also feels like they are saying FU to me since I am a remainer and it looked very Brexity. Behind the door of an advent calendar! What's wrong with a robin or a bell or santa?

maybe I should hang fire - tomorrow might be the EU flag or France? How bizarre to find a union flag behind the door in an advent calendar

I have one that has little candles (scented wax melts) behind each window; I fear a fire might happen if I light one but taking them out of the box surely makes it pointless as an Advent calendar. I have a freebie one from a charity which I may open this evening, if I remember.

The Liberty one here...never had anything so indulgent before, OH treated me due to the fact we’ve been nowhere/done nothing/spent nothing for months and he thought I deserved a treat. It’s beautiful just to look at....first drawer was an Aveda hair treatment which i used today, it’s going to make December that much more bearable!

I have the Amazon Beauty one. Today was Elemis soothing apricot toner, a good start.

DD has crayola which is fab, a scented marker today there’s also a box in the bag with a numbered sheet to take out each day for an activity she got a word search. DS1 has a yoda stationery one and DS2 match attax which he decided to give up collecting last week
