Which advent calendars has everyone started today?

I've just opened day 1 of my Holland and Barrett one, really lovely day moisturizer and dd has had a Lindt breakfast . What has everyone else got?

I treated myself to a Lindt one. (It's the blue/white design one). Nice chocolate and all that but no picture.behind the door or behind th chocolate. Was the same with Reese's last year. Cop out

I've got the Bonne Maman jam, (strawberry today!) and the Pukka herbal teas.

Today's tea is "Feel New" a fusion of aniseed, fennel & cardamom. I'm hoping it works, as I feel old all the time!

I have the L'occitane one and I have a Hotel Chocolat one. Not a sophisticated grown up one. The kids one with penguins on the front! I also bought an identical one as a gift for DH so that I don't have to let him have a turn at opening mine. Don't know why I haven't thought of it before!!

John Lewis beauty one, got some lovely Acqua di Parma bits in the first drawer.

One of my lovely clients bought me a Cath Kidston one! I was speechless. So kind of her. ❤️

John Lewis cars one for DS (not relishing have to prise the daily vehicle out of his hand every morning in December when we get to nursery and deal with ensuing tantrum), Peppa Pig Christmas scene one for DD. We also got a wooden one this year from PIL, each drawer has a little figure in it that makes a full nativity scene by 24th Dec, and there is also room to put in a little chocolate coin or similar.

Our morning routine has just expanded by at least 10 minutes!

Why not wait until he gets home from nursery? He's not going to (yet) know or care?

I'd also keep a couple of small things for him to open fir a few days after, then have the tantrums about no longer getting a wee present every day. Boxing Day etc is not the time for those.

@WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants good idea! DD (4) is a bit more switched on so maybe we can take her off separately to do hers. We've told them they're only opening them if they get dressed and ready nicely without a fuss so I don't think we'll be opening them every day anyway

Jacqui Lawson's online/animated one. It's really fab and we do it every year (the themes change each year).

DC have the body shop one and the benefit makeup one. Eldest dd I also bought a pringles one for so she has 24 to open.

Poor old mum here didn't get herself one as usual.
Definitely getting myself a nice one next year.

I have a traditional picture one from Waterstones, all sparkly with Father Christmas. I like the traditional ones. I've had Lindt in the past which was lovely. Ds has a pocket one I put sweets/gifts inside.

DC have a lego one each. I treated myself to a bodyshop one, lovely coconut handcream in day number one, smells amazing

I coudn;t face chocolate at 6.30am this morning so I left my Maltesers one on the mantlepiece.

Ds rang in a panic, instead of his usual routine of straight into the kitchen for breakfast where he would have seen his Percy Pig calendar propped up on the breakfast bar, he went into the living room first this morning and only saw the Maltesers one!

Bless him, he was so apologetic.

I’ve treated DD to the Philip Jones jewellery one and also the Hotel chocolat one. Normally we have bog standard Cadbury’s one. But it’s been a tough year so I thought she deserved a bit of pampering.

I made DD a rocks and fossils advent calendar (quartz crystals this morning). DS didn’t want one as he has cut out chocolate and didn’t see the point of an advent calendar without chocolate!

I have a L'Occitane one, and DS has a Tinc one.

Lego City for the children, Brewdog for DH and a Paperchase one for myself. I got a 4 colour pen that flows very nicely and will be super handy for work. I love stationery so will be excitedly opening mine every morning.

I've printed off the Johanna Basford one. Coloured in my candles this morning!

I have L'occitane and got Almond Shower Oil DH has a Lilley’s cider advent and got a peach flavour. DC1 Lynx advent, not sure what he got today. Dc2 has a super Mario advent and got Luigi, he was very pleased.

My dd has the Gibson jigsaw one it looks really good , day 1 is a London scene .
