Just starting the new thread in haste .

I've had to avoid these threads because I've been banned from Christmas crafting this year! But as there's no 'show us your cake' thread, I thought I'd add mine on here! Lovely garlands up thread , and those socks are gorgeous!

This year I've also made mini sleighs for all the kids and work people, plus some spiced blackberry gin liqueur which is gorgeous (a few for gifts, a few for us!)

Yes I agree, that is a true work of art. In fact I think you ought to start a ‘show us your cake’ thread!

I'm mid crochet Errol (mantis) atm; it's taking considerably longer than it really should do with dd2 popping to see me or sitting with me or looking for stuff to do! He may well end up with just forelegs & the promise that I'll add the others asap

Holly I'm sorry you've had a rough couple of days but I hope that you are back in the Christmas spirit.

My last contribution is our cake. Eventually decided to just focus on the gingerbread- might have got a bit out of hand!

We did indeed have a lovely day and the following days have been full of joy and carols .
I am so glad your mum loved her flowers . It’s been so mild here this year that mine peaked a week ago but if I start them a week later next year I don’t know if that will be too late !
