I have my real tree decorated in silver only in my kitchen/dining area, and the tacky artificial anything goes, in the sitting room. That one was mostly decorated by the kids

Two trees here too- one for us And one for the kids!

The rainbow one is Asda this year and the green one a Tesco £30 sparkle tree back from when they were doing Tesco direct Eons ago!

Ours is still in a bucket in the garden!

@FixItUpChappie thank you! It’s been a really rough week (my DH had a heart attack and was in hospital) and being able to sit and appreciate the tree and lights and beautiful ornaments really helped me to feel calm.

I can't wait to put ours up. My son keeps asking for coloured lights, and I prefer warm white ones. This year I've found some led light strings that can change, so they'll be coloured until he goes to bed then I'll just zap it with the remote when he's gone to bed! 😀

Thanks @Decorhate, the shape of it is pretty convincing. I found it on B&Q but ordered it from Wayfair as it was out of stock there. Easy to put together too, just shove up and fluff

Fabulous thread - I freaking love Christmas trees! Here's ours, decorated yesterday mostly by DDs except for the very top which they couldn't reach.

Here's mine. Took hours because I'm heavily pregnant, no one but the 7 year old helped, and after going for shopping, doing housework and getting it all out the back of the packed cupboard I could hardly walk by the end. Worth it though 😂

We've somehow ended up with a wide load Christmas tree 😆
The cat looks worried because the Eufy is zipping around hoovering up the mess

Here's mine, cut from the field yesterday and dressed today, a little smaller than usual (just under 7ft) but bloody beautiful 😍
