Thank you @WhoUsedMyName we chose it from our local Christmas tree farm yesterday .... just hope I can keep it at least semi alive by the time Christmas comes! We do like to have the fire roaring so every time hubby goes to put more wood on I’m saying “but the tree, the tree!”

When my aunt & uncle got a house they brought each other a bauble every year from holidays,memories etc and there tree is amazing and so meaningful

Went up today, bought it new for this year as finally retired the £20 Tesco job to second tree status

Lovely trees! Here’s mine.

Mine has been up and switched on since yesterday (first Sunday of Advent). I’ll also get a small real one to go in the dining room, in a couple of weeks time.

I’ve fixed the lights since I took the photo, to sort that empty bit in the upper half. I don’t usually have coloured lights but I found a lovely vintage-style string of lights and it just felt right this year.

The real tree will have real candles on it!😊🎄🕯
