It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@SparklingDinosaurs

H&M help please! I’ve just completed a big order and first attempt it said it didn’t process so refreshed and went back in and reprocessed. All good get order confirmed then realise my 20% members discount hasn’t been applied arrrg. This expires at midnight. Customer service closed but auto chat bot replies saying per attached picture. Do I trust them that the discount will be applied?! So annoyed with myself as been waiting ages for this discount Blush
I have in the past have great success to both get orders changes after ordering and getting vouchers added on as long as my purchase was when the voucher was valid. Found out that apologising and being really thankful for their help has made the request be fulfilled quite easily.

@mummyof2boys30

Lego discounts going live at argos tonight. 9pm i think
Thank you so much for the heads up! I managed to get one of the only things DS has asked for for £36 instead of £55. I'd been holding off just in case but wasn't expecting a discount anywhere at all. Thanks!
TheLastStarfighter · 26/11/2020 22:14

Well, I just got so pissed off with Amazon marketplace for things coming from China when they don’t tell you, that I ended up spending a fortune on Aliexpress instead.

Not at all sure how that’s going to help me, as now nothing is going to get here for Christmas Confused

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/11/2020 22:15

I really fancy wrapping gifts in a dark blue/dark green pattern theme- lots online but I can’t find a shop that sells both colours. Anyone seen any in passing?

Elephanttrunk · 26/11/2020 22:35

@TheLastStarfighter sorry looks like they’ve all gone! Ordered at 19:13 but can’t see the same deal on there now Sad

Shufflebum · 26/11/2020 22:56

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl
Try The English Vine for beautiful giftable wine or champagne

Carrie76 · 26/11/2020 22:56

LEGO Hidden Side Newbury High set is down to £65 on amazon I just twitched! Must go to bed so I don’t buy anything else Smile

MrsDoctorDear · 26/11/2020 23:02

I need UGG slippers for a gift but don't want to pay £80. OFFICE have TAKE20 code but doesn't apply to UGG.
Any ideas where I could try?
TIA.

Lockdownlumpy · 26/11/2020 23:06

How much are the gruum products normally? Am I actually making a saving if I buy at a fiver?

Lolly12 · 26/11/2020 23:11

Anyone else having problems with the Argos Lego deals? Can see discounted items but then showing full price in trolley annoyingly!

beadyboo · 26/11/2020 23:14

DD has put Dr Martens on her list, she’s still growing like a weed so I doubt she’ll be in them long. The cheapest I can find in a size 5.5 (38.5) is £75 in Jake Shoes. Their 20% discount doesn’t apply to DMs unfortunately and lots of places are out of stock. Anyone any bargainous ideas before I bite the bullet and order them.

sycamorescrumptious · 26/11/2020 23:29

I wondered why the thread was so quiet tonight Blush glad I've found the new one now!

Argos Lego also includes the RC train at a better-than-Amazon £70

Free upgrade to a hardback photobook via the Freeprints photobook app
I used them last month to make a book for dd and the quality is amazing, you can get one softcover book of up to 20 photos for just the p&p of £5.99 each month.

They are currently offering existing customers a free upgrade to hardback but when I first used them last month I was also upgraded as a first time user so worth a try!
