It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Turnedouttoes
Thanks for the laithwaites link. I've got it at £65 and am attempting to stack with 10% Quidco new customer and 20% Lloyds bank everyday offers cashback. Not sure they will both work but if so it will be truly bargainous

BalaamsAss · 27/11/2020 13:01

Any vouchers for Cotswold Co? (The furniture shop - NOT the outward bounds type shop!)

They are one of the only places which has a suitable sideboard/dresser available for delivery this side of Christmas, but at almost £1K I’d REALLY like to save some money!

Thedarknightsaredrawingin · 27/11/2020 13:03

@Chocolateteabag buy the more expensive better suction. Still a great buy!

thelegohooverer · 27/11/2020 13:03

What is the difference between turtle doves fingerless gloves and wrist warmers? Would anyone recommend one over the other?

GoblinDaughter · 27/11/2020 13:03

@GoblinDaughter

Why does my child want a shitting flamingo?! Please tell me I’m not going to have to pay £33 for it?! Hmm
A picture would be useful

Yeknom · 27/11/2020 13:05

@Chocolateteabag I've got a 15C max and so happy with it

purplepandas · 27/11/2020 13:07

The flamingo is evil!

Dreamingofwalden · 27/11/2020 13:08

For those of you with book lovers to buy for Bookishly has a BF offer. £25 for a mystery book crate with at least £80 worth of products. Lucky Dip box

buckeejit · 27/11/2020 13:09

@Chocolateteabag I'm the same, so indecisive - waiting for someone to lead me! Baaaa!

I hate buyer remorse so may go for the more expensive one as don't want to regret it- although I've already spent an unnecessary £300 today on whisky & 2 our generation dolls & 2 board games

The shitting flamingo is coveted my 4 year d twins that I mind too - it's the poo fascination I think.

NeedMoreTea · 27/11/2020 13:13

After ignoring all the posts in previous threads I now need something for Dnephew who likes anime. I know a couple of websites were mentioned a few threads ago but I can't find my screenshot of it. Please could someone remind me. DH's family are a nightmare to buy for and never give any gift ideas until December. I'd like to have them all done by now, but I've still got 4 kids and possibly 3 adults to buy for. Argh.

ClaraLane · 27/11/2020 13:14

@BarbiesWorld

While I'm here, desperately following everyone's bargains, any ideas for stocking fillers for a ten month old? Found loads for the 4 year old but poor baby DS has very little and I have a feeling DD will notice if he doesn't have a stocking like she does..
My 4 month old is getting bubble bath, a reindeer bath mitt (home bargains), chocolate coins (for me), tube of smarties (for me), bouncy light up ball (home bargains) some bamboo cutlery (Rinkit) and some socks (Joules). How about a toothbrush, toothpaste, nice flannel, board book, satsuma, bib? Basically stuff you’d be buying anyway.
Iggi999 · 27/11/2020 13:15

@thelegohooverer

What is the difference between turtle doves fingerless gloves and wrist warmers? Would anyone recommend one over the other?
One is basically a tube, so a hole at the end, no specific finger holes. A bit like pulling down the sleeve on a really warm jumper! The fingerless gloves they sell have one extra hole for the thumb, which holds them in place further down your hand. In my head fingerless gloves would have fingers for every finger, just missing the top half, but that isn't the turtle dove approach.Grin
GirlWithTheYellowHat · 27/11/2020 13:18

@NameChangeForPoo I think this is the most recent version, it gives you the option for 2nd gen which is more expensive than the 3rd gen on offer 🤣

thelegohooverer · 27/11/2020 13:18

Thanks @Iggi999
I’d have thought the same- so what I was picturing as a wrist warmer is what they call a fingerless glove.
Thank you for the explanation particularly as my head is melted today!

Chocolateteabag · 27/11/2020 13:19

@Yeknom & @Thedarknightsaredrawingin Flowers

THANKYOU - Eufy 15C now bought. And in all my dithering, topcashback had gone from 14% last night to 17% today.

@buckeejit - go for it!

Thedarknightsaredrawingin · 27/11/2020 13:22

Girlonatubetrain2 · 27/11/2020 13:28

@Chocolateteabag @buckeejit
I just finally made a decison, and bought the . . . . . the £180 version.
Knew i'd always wonder if i should have gone for the stronger version, unlikely to moan about losing £25 if i'm happy with my choice

Skullduggeryfizz · 27/11/2020 13:28

Goblin daughter you made me laugh out loud saying your child wanted a shitting flamingo, I laughed even more when I realised it was actually a shitting flamingo. Just why is that even a thing.

AndddddHerewegoagain · 27/11/2020 13:31

@BarbiesWorld I've got dd lanka kade toys which are gorgeous wooden toys

Also an activity cube, a couple of rattles, thats not my books and bath toys. Hope that helps

MydeamonsanOstrich · 27/11/2020 13:35

I've got a basket full in Superdry. Anyone know of any codes before I checkout?

Doordye · 27/11/2020 13:37
@buckeejit - have you decided yet??

Please someone - just tell me which Eufy robot hoover

Cheap one or the one that has better suction (£153 vs £180)

I will literally buy what the first person to respond says
I would go for the better suction reason being I didn’t get the anti hair wrap shark & regretted it since

pennygirl26 · 27/11/2020 13:39

Just gone to order the plane and it's not £79 from cool shop. If anyone has any discounts for Smyth's or Argos would be very grateful thank you

drapeyday · 27/11/2020 13:39
