Reastie · 26/11/2020 18:33

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

They’re still doing the £10 off for new customers, I ordered a pair for my grandad the other day. www.turtle-doves.co.uk/pages/signature-gloves-offer
Scout2016 · 27/11/2020 09:31

@ClaraLane I sent some from Crocus very recently and they went down well. Very healthy looking apparently.

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 27/11/2020 09:32

25% off everything at Sweaty Betty and 30% off some at Gymshark

Onlyahalfbottle · 27/11/2020 09:35

@Pawpawpaws you are my hero! I've been dithering about getting the Toot Toot castle for DD and just couldn't bring myself to get it at full price but that Very code worked and I got it cheaper than anywhere else and a free pair of jeans for me!

Gardenworm · 27/11/2020 09:39

Really hoping cyber Monday comes up trumps...
Looking for Nintendo Ring Fit deal and iPad 2020 if anyone spots on their travels 😊

jingleballing · 27/11/2020 09:39

The very code isn't working for me Sad

bettyskitchen · 27/11/2020 09:40

Thanks @ClaraLane I'm after the fingerless gloves so that's perfect - really appreciate it Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 27/11/2020 09:40

@weebarra

St Bert's 70% off some stuff, got a sweatshirt for DD for under £10. I think the new thread title really should be "should I be in a queue?' Made me giggle!
@Reastie, nominating this for the next thread title! 😂
Shitfuckoh · 27/11/2020 09:41

Very code doesn't work for me either. I'm assuming it's just for credit accounts?

Lovemusic33 · 27/11/2020 09:42

Also disappointed with qwertee, was hoping to buy dd some T-shirt’s, usually they reduce to £5 each but most are £7, they then tried to charge me £7.50 postage for 4 items so I didn’t buy them. Can anyone recommend a good alternative? Dd is 16 and a geek 🤣 she’s not girly at all so she’s hard to buy clothes for, already spent a fortune yesterday in her younger sister at hype and ASOS.

@WeAreTheWeirdosMister could you PM me the abel and cole referral? I searched on the referral thread but couldn't see it.

uniqlo · 27/11/2020 09:59

For those of you who had been waiting for your Molton Brown gift cards (magazine subscription deal) I've just received mine in the post!

TheLastStarfighter · 27/11/2020 09:59

@ClaraLane

Bloom Box Club are good and have 10% off with newsletter subscription, and freebies with purchase for Black Friday.

Gunns florest do mail order plants, but it’s a bit specialist and you need to know what you are looking for.

Patch plants are half way between the two - but be aware you need to buy the pot separately.

livingthegoodlife · 27/11/2020 10:05

@ClaraLane I fully recommend The Little Botanical company - lovely houseplants and they include the pot too. I've bought for myself and as gifts and very pleased with high quality plants. Well packaged. My sister has also bought and been pleased.

20% off this weekend with code GOGREEN20

I'll be ordering more today as well.

I guess I can abandon my Dunelm basket full of dining furniture. I’ve not seen anything from them.

DoctorYang · 27/11/2020 10:10

For plants, Bllombox are lovely. There is a subscription or one-off plants, some are quite unusual.

TheCrow · 27/11/2020 10:10

@lovemusic33 teeturtle has 50% off t-shirts and some other stuff in the sale. Genki gear doesn't have a black Friday sale but they have a few bits on clearance anyway.

TheCrow · 27/11/2020 10:15

@Lovemusic33 there's also 5poundstshirt that has some geeky designs, every design is available in every colour and postage increases depending on number of t-shirts, it's not a flat rate
