Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Celtic and Co £20 off a £20 spend with code FESTIVE20. Just incase there is anyone left on this thread who doesn't yet own sheepskin insoles!
I bought my dog a blanket for his Xmas stocking with mine.
Scout2016 · 24/11/2020 14:38

Just wanted to say thanks everyone for this great thread. Been such a big help and so cheerful.
Thanks for the advice on Schleich, they have come and are great. I can see why they cost so much now. Thanks for the Toysandlearning website tip off for buying them from too.

Just need to find a toy cat that purrs and moves and I think I'm done.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 24/11/2020 14:45

Thank you so much @TheCrow DS will absolutely love that

myhobbyisouting · 24/11/2020 14:46

@MiniMileyMoo my fossil smart watch arrived today and I used the 40% off code.

My "processed" email had the price I paid on it next to a photo of the watch if that makes sense?

dancemom · 24/11/2020 14:47

@BendyBusBuggy thanks for the DM tip, my daughter was after a pair and I got some for £68

Lockdownlumpy · 24/11/2020 14:47

@thelaststarfighter thanks, I was actually looking at that one as a second choice so good to know its nice. How big is it once unpacked? I think the asda one with legs outstretched would be about the same length as my 5yo!
I actually think it looks nicer too as it doesn't have wings, bit was slightly put off by some reviews saying they received a pink one.

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 24/11/2020 14:52

How does the discount of an Amazon wish list work? Had anyone tried this? I have a few hundred to spend and would love a discount!

MiniMileyMoo · 24/11/2020 14:52

Thanks @myhobbyinouting - mine had £0 as the price paid which makes me wonder (especially if yours did have a price on it!)! Well, will see if it turns up...fingers crossed.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 24/11/2020 14:57

Thank you so much, wonderful bargain hunting hive mind, we have a bargain Switch for dd at last!!! Partner got to Tesco too late last night to buy one - customer service team had gone home - but was helpfully shown where they were locked away ("Here's what you could have won!")Confused

He sat in a long line of traffic on the A12 today (calling me every ten minutes, convinced it was a queue of Switch-grabbers) bur finally got to Tesco and triumphantly retrieved one. Made my heart stop by phoning to tell me "It wasn't such a bargain..." but that turned out to be because they charged him 20p for a bagSmile

Over the moon but not half as much as will dd be. This was not part of the Christmas budget because she doesn't think she can have a console yet so every penny saved is a massive massive help.

My little tip for the day... Pop culture mugs for £5 at Fan Grrrl - formerly La La Land - today only here but there will be new offers every day this week. The saint ones are particularly coolHalo

I've discovered there are tons of exclusions, notably gaming consoles and video games, which were some of my higher predicted items to buy. I signed up a month ago and only got an email with the code KWL15 yesterday- so this far it hasn't worked at all for me!
SpamIAm · 24/11/2020 15:04

Congratulations @tabbycat985 ! I've always found next, primark and Tesco good for my skinny babies. Asda not too bad. Sainsbury's far too short abandon wide.

IggyAce · 24/11/2020 15:04

@tabbycat985 congratulations. My dd was long & thin (now a tall teen) I found Next, John Lewis and Asda pretty good. However things may have changed.

SpamIAm · 24/11/2020 15:04

@LifeInAHamsterWheel I don't think amazon take payment until the item is dispatched? That may not apply if it's not sold by amazon though.

BendyBusBuggy · 24/11/2020 15:07

@Tearsofthemushroom, how about IKKS or Scotch & Soda?

www.ikks.com/

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 24/11/2020 15:16

@thelegohooverer and @SpamIAm thank you both for replying. I checked and it did look like it was coming from China so I picked a similar item instead. Thanks!

@tabbycat985 another thread baby! Congratulations to you and your family Flowers

recklessgran · 24/11/2020 15:19

Oooh many congratulations @tabbycat985 another lovely thread baby- no advice on skinny baby clothes as 4 out of my 5 DD's were chubsters and the other one was in tiny baby for weeks as she was dysmature.
Free delivery at Debenhams with code SHHA ends tonight

Tearsofthemushroom · 24/11/2020 15:25

Thanks for all of the clothing tips!

myhobbyisouting · 24/11/2020 15:28

Fingers crossed for you @MiniMileyMoo

I'm still slightly amazed that I got the watch for that price!

icedaisy · 24/11/2020 15:46

Probably a stupid question.

My parents have an old box of toys.

In it is a small gadget that fits in my hand. You push it in and then put it behind a car or toy and press a button and it fires out and launches the car.

What is this called?

I've tried car launcher and various words.

Dd absolutely loves it and thought be good in her stocking.

keeganface · 24/11/2020 15:48

@Lockdown lumpy. The had large plush unicorns in B & M at the weekend of you have one of those near you?

OldGreyBoots · 24/11/2020 16:27

Has anyone seen a discount code for Yankee Candle anywhere? The introductory 10% off isn't working for me on their site...

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 24/11/2020 16:31

@WetEcho my daughter asked for one as well, is it a thing? She sent me a link to eBay. There are a lot of Vivienne Westwood (cough) necklaces on there.
