Evening!

New thread here. I'm pretty sure this one breaks all previous records!

Oh I hope you find something! You need to extend the screens in the display settings...

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2020 09:33

My kids think dragging things across two screens is tantamount to magic, Wreck! 😂

Boots, I'm a bit of a weirdo. I get cold, but if I wear even slightly too much clothing, I get claustrophobic along side the too hot feeling. I think gloves may do that to me! Hopefully the long sleeve top will do!

Fluffy one of the spaces in my office hasn't got room for the laptop on the left so I have to put it on the right and drag to the wrong side to get on the monitor 🤯😂 so confusing

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2020 09:57

You can swap that round you know!

I'm a laptop on left person too. 😁

Haven't had chance to read through this morning's chat.

I typed a reply to you last night, Crazy, about your nephew, then didn't post it Confused

Anyway, these always come highly recommended on the bargain thread.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 23/11/2020 11:46

Morning folks, day one of annual leave and I have only been up for an hour. Happy days. Still tired though. We have decided to put the tree up next weekend which is pleasing me, I seem to be looking forward to it more than usual this year.

MarshmallowManiac · 23/11/2020 11:59

Morning everyone. Sunny day today with no breeze at all. Haven't had the chance yet to read the full thread. My kids have nearly finished picking their main presents at last

Sorry to hear that you didn't have a good night Wreck and Boots

Can't wait to put up ours too Why, feel we all need a sparkly, twinkly, warm and cosy Christmas this year. [santa]

pussycatinboots · 23/11/2020 13:35

why getting up after 10 o'clock...pure decadence! 😉
Crazy There are a couple of wooden treasure chests on amazon, but I wasn't sure whether it was for your sis or nephew tbh. Have you tried Hobbycraft? www.hobbycraft.co.uk/advancedsearchresults.aspx?query=chest

NerosFiddle · 23/11/2020 16:00

Afternoon.

The NI "government" has announced that every household is to get £200 voucher to spend in shops, restaurants etc. So what to spend it on?

pussycatinboots · 23/11/2020 16:08

Nero Alcohol and Chocolate. You can bet your ass we'll be back in lockdown in Jan and Feb.

pussycatinboots · 23/11/2020 16:15

also - Pringles, Dry Roasted Peanuts, Baileys, Malteasers, After 8s, Lindor "balls"...Xmas Grin

WreckTangled · 23/11/2020 16:21

I'd use it for my food shopping and put the money saved into my imaginary New York fund Grin

WreckTangled · 23/11/2020 16:24

Also I'm afraid the Dolly Parton Christmas film is shit.

NerosFiddle · 23/11/2020 16:47

Awk wreck I'm disappointed. I was saving it for Saturday night. Aw well.

Boots, it's looking like we won't be able to use it in a supermarket. I might buy my specialty Christmas cheese though.

pussycatinboots · 23/11/2020 16:58

Really? Well that would screw up my plans for it 😂
New freezer?

MarshmallowManiac · 23/11/2020 17:03

Yes definitely new freezer filled to the top Boots and also a few sweet treats Grin Grin

WreckTangled · 23/11/2020 17:08

Hmm not in a supermarket...would M&S food be allowed?!

If not I think I would put it towards a new kitchen table or treat us all to new bedding.

pussycatinboots · 23/11/2020 17:11

I need a new rug for the living room, and some new curtains...I'd prefer the alcohol and chocolate though. 😂

MarshmallowManiac · 23/11/2020 17:22

New Christmas bedding Wreck Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 23/11/2020 17:22

And Christmas jumpers.

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2020 17:58

I wonder if you can spend it somewhere like Majestic? Gives you the booze option.

My local cheese shop actually sells some booze / chocolates / biscuits etc. You might be OK!

I wish our government would do this. It was mooted but discounted.

I'm so happy with the news of lockdown definitely ending. That means we will definitely be able to go to Kew and can go into London during the day too. I'm thinking Covent Garden but not sure where else... maybe Southbank as they love it there

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2020 18:46

We're back into tiers though. So what you can do will depend on the tier London is in.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 23/11/2020 18:58

Even if central London is tier 3 (unlikely looking at current figures) the only real restriction will be take away only at restaurants etc which isn't a problem. Richmond cases are pretty low too 109/100000) so shouldn't be more than tier 2 at the most.

NerosFiddle · 23/11/2020 18:58

Can't buy online. It seems to be about getting local businesses back on their feet.

Apparently we're all going r be able to move around before Christmas. Don't think it's very safe but I'll be glad to see dbro again.
