Tesco Delivery Pass Xmas slots reminder

If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

Two hours of queuing and managed a slot for the 22nd!

Ridiculously long wait, I wish they at least had a ticker of a place in the queue so you had some kind of an idea of how long you might be sat there.

I'm guessing people were doing the full shop instead of adding a few things and checking out.

I just got back in via the app to pay for my slot on 23rd, hooray. Two hours in total to get it sorted. What a palaver.

Our one on the 22nd is a longer slot all the short ones had gone but at least it's something. Going to go in and edit at the weekend to make sure we actually order food and don't get stuck with just alcohol.

I’m still in the queue on the browser but I got in on the app (which I didn’t even download until 7:45). I got a slot for Monday 21st - all the later ones were gone.

I agree with whoever said this isn’t a queue, it’s a lottery.

I’m going to keep trying on the website and see how long it takes.

That was crazy! Got put in a queue at 6.40, they let me in at 8.03 to see all fixed slots gone! Managed to get a flexi one but they can't have let people in by queue time if some were getting in within a few minutes

Finally got on after a tiresome 1hr 50 mins of queuing
Fixed slots for 23rd Dec all gone, l could have got a flexi slot - but chose 22nd Dec fixed slot which were all still available in my area-

Now might be the time when people reserving the slots at 7am who didn't or couldn't check out expire and become free again.

Make sure you don't accidentally book
November and not December. I did that a couple of years ago 😂

I queued for two hours but finally got a click and collect slot on 23rd. Avoided booking delivery because I can’t afford for my delivery to be bumped if drivers are off sick due to Covid. At least with click and collect I know it will definitely be available.

I don't think queue is working properly. Tried everything on phone, and queued for 2 hours. Logged straight in on Firefox on laptop.
Much more availability on click & collect so don't that for fresh items on 23rd and booked in the usual slots for the month. I wish I had tried the laptop earlier now 🙈

Been queueing since 7:15 on the phone app and the desktop site. No sign of getting in yet.

I was on the site for just over 2hrs, throughout walk to school etc, and have managed to get the 22nd (which is a Tues, my normal delivery day anyway).

My screen kept locking on me while I waited so I’m not 100% sure it resets your position, I seem to have had a similar wait to some others. Good luck to those still waiting.

The slots released today are just for delivery pass customers, I believe.
