I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@lexloofah I ordered about a dozen of them. Off the recommendation on here I had a look on Facebook for a few more details of size and what they are actually like in the bath. They look better than lush, and worked out at about half the price. I’ll post a picture when they arrive in case there’s anyone else undecided.

runningpink · 01/11/2020 16:53

@Ewock you can often pick up bundles of costumes on Facebook selling sites in really good conditions if you don’t mind second hand.

TheLastStarfighter · 01/11/2020 16:54

A long shot, but any discounts, codes, referrals for East?

Winterfellismyhome · 01/11/2020 16:54

A Great Little Trading Company discount here:

@lexloofah she means the jewellery type. I have no idea about jewellery for small girls as she’s only been interested in toys up until now...

Found some matching Christmas dresses on studio but it's asking me to create an account- is there a way to just buy something without making a credit account?

Lovemusic33 · 01/11/2020 17:13

Not sure if any use to any one, saw this pop up on Facebook. Jenny juice are doing goodie bags (10 items for £10), quirky jewellery possibly good stocking fillers for teens. jennyjuice

You can create an account and pay on arrival (that’s what I do) so not a credit account, i think you can pay it straight away. When you buy the item it gives you the option at check out.
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/11/2020 17:18

Are clothes included in the Sainsbury's double up? Could get dress up then of you have nectar points

Ewock · 01/11/2020 17:25

Thanks everyone will try Sainsbury's and Argos. And hadn't even thought of facebook.

TheRealMrsJamieFraser · 01/11/2020 17:37

Can anyone tell me if there was a Flavourly code mentioned? I was about to order their introductory mixed case which is a good deal at £29.95 but something made me stop!
Either that or a different website? I need a selection of beer but i don't think it matters what they are or where from

woodwaj · 01/11/2020 17:39

For those asking about Mrs Snowballs thought a pic might be helpful. Here are a few of what I've got at the moment.

@Ewock

Hi can anyone recommend some decent priced dressing up costumes. My dd has asked for some princess dresses like Snow white and Cinderella. Thanks
I bought DD some great Disney Princess dresses from Matalan, Tesco and George at Asda. She preferred wearing them to the 'scratchy' expensive Disney dress she was bought by my Mum.
BeaLola · 01/11/2020 17:58

Lakeland codes

£10 off a £60 shop1277 6719 4096 3984

& £5 off £30 shop 1277 6619 3199 1945

Hophop26 · 01/11/2020 18:02

@Ewock eBay is brilliant for second hand dressing up clothes, I get them regularly and on average pay £2-£3.50 plus postage per dress and brilliant condition. I think we have every single princess now and multiples of some as 2 dds. I tend to go for Asda George and TU ones

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 01/11/2020 18:06

@Ewock there's a brand called 'Elsa & Anna' on Amazon and I can't rate them enough! They are gorgeous dresses, properly made with layers and layers of fabric, and really good prices IMO. We've had the below for 2 years, and it is lovely and stretchy mesh. Also have three others (Anna, Rapunzel and Cinderella) - these ones even have zips.

@TheRealMrsJamieFraser

This is a really good offer! You could always order two different varieties using two different emails if you want more

Avoca76 · 01/11/2020 18:12

@NeedMoreTea this is the one I have got for my 4 year old.

Elphaba17 · 01/11/2020 18:12

HOTUKDEALS15 gets your £15 off, no minimum spend, at Red Letter Days from tomorrow. Makes a Prezzo 3 course meal for 2 with wine £15 so hoping to order this for my brother and sister in law.

AFingerofFudge · 01/11/2020 18:13

@17caterpillars1mouse M&S have some Paddington pyjamas on their website currently. Some sizes sold out but some smaller sizes still in stock

Avoca76 · 01/11/2020 18:17

Any ideas for a 9 year old who is always singing and dancing? We have a Bluetooth microphone, guitar, various musical instruments (although any ideas for unusual instruments would be good) and a Spotify subscription. Don’t want an Alexa but can’t think of any other ideas.

TheRealMrsJamieFraser · 01/11/2020 18:19

Not buns but chocolate brownie kit £2.50! Sorry for the hateful link, salted caramel cupcake kit also £2.50

tinyradish · 01/11/2020 18:31

@Avoca76 do you have a ukulele? :)

Avoca76 · 01/11/2020 18:34

Yep 😊 our house is full of musical stuff! Not sure how it happened!

Famousthehero · 01/11/2020 18:35

@Avoca76 do you have any consoles, how about Singstar or dance games for those? Sure you can find similar for any computer but my children are too young yet so not got any details sorry.
We used to love dance dance revolution in the arcades but can't see a dance mat with good reviews.
Instruments wise, accordion (and ear plugs for you)? Drum box that you sit on? The kalimba makes a lovely gentle noise if you think they'd be into it...
