Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Fancyateapottea
When you registered your velvetiser, did they email the code or did it just appear on the site?

Lockdownlumpy · 23/10/2020 14:30

@ClaraLane

If anyone wants a Vodafone code I can PM you mine as I won’t be using it.
Is the kidspass the now tv one? Or some Sort of actual pass. I know they've done now tv kids thing before and would love one of those to keep the kids (me) sane during repeat isolations due to kiddy bugs.
Lockdownlumpy · 23/10/2020 14:33

Gruum have a 'free' shampoo bar offer, but you do have to pay p+p (£3.95 I think)

Coupon code seems to be
free-shampoo-8

SingaporeSlinky · 23/10/2020 14:35

Been into Smiggle today, they have some items 50% off, and also BOGOF, so we got packs of fluffy sand that were originally £4, reduced to £2, and then BOGOF, so 2 pots for £2
Great for stocking fillers.

Lockdownlumpy · 23/10/2020 14:37

Another recommendation for blokus.
My inlaws (in their 70s) love it, and often play with my nephew (13). Father in law is particularly strategic and grumpy when he loses. I am going to buy for my kids as soon as they're a bit older, they are a bit too young to understand the strategy at the moment.

We also have OK play - it's essentially a tile version of connect 4 (except you need 5) with multiple players. We bought because its really small and portable so good for kids to play if waiting in a restaurant, airport etc.

Beaglemum93 · 23/10/2020 14:41

@Carrie76 I've used Lowplex books and had no problems.

@Chippytheelf29 are you a "member" (or do you have a different email address to sign up again)? They are giving 10% off first order if you sign up as a "member" which is just basically a loyalty card and you get free delivery.

JoanneCofton · 23/10/2020 14:44

My velvetiser has arrived!! I’ve got to go and do the school run but after that I’ll have a play with it!! Did I see earlier on the thread that there’s a discount in it for more hot chocolate?

Shhhsleeping · 23/10/2020 14:45

Has anyone seen Fifa21 on offer anywhere

JoanneCofton · 23/10/2020 14:46

Ignore I’ve just read back on the thread and saw the offer

Lovemusic33 · 23/10/2020 14:47

@MsMiaWallace

Does anyone have a Matalan discount going spare?
Do you still need a code? Just had some in the post, PM me if you would like one.
Jacopone · 23/10/2020 15:01

I’ve dropped off for a while and it’s page 30 already! Just to say big thanks to the person who posted Claire’s discount code. I’ve forgotten about this shop for years, but checked out of curiosity and managed to find a couple of really nice bracelets for teenagers. There is one made of stones (not plastic beads), one made of shells and some of metal. All for £13.20. Pretty amazing!

Fancyateapottea · 23/10/2020 15:02

@GirlWithTheYellowHat
I registered it yesterday and got an email through today.

JoanneCofton · 23/10/2020 15:07

For anyone picking up a click and collect order from Claire’s, I fetched mine today and it had a 20% off voucher attached to be used in store

Jacopone · 23/10/2020 15:29

Tate Museum shop 10% off with TATEGIFTS code. Not known for bargainous stuff but many interesting things and books.

Hophop26 · 23/10/2020 15:44

@Jacopone I’m loving how restrained your Claire’s order is, I’ve ended up with 2 boxes of little girl jewellery, sparkly things, make up etc.....

TidyOmlette · 23/10/2020 15:55

My M&S order is set for 5th November too, can’t see how they can pull the sale now when they have held onto our money for so long

Jacopone · 23/10/2020 15:58

@Hophop26, 😄, true!
But I’m sure if I had little girls (no more!) I would get lost in Claire’s accessories. This year, I find, I’m buying much less. Penhaligon’s deal was exceptional ( grateful for that) and the rest I think we don’t need that much. Am I getting old?😄

Jacopone · 23/10/2020 16:05

I actually envy those of you with small children.. I have always loved children’s toys and recently enjoyed having a quick glimpse at all this beautiful Aldi stuff, especially wooden toys. I find a strange pleasure beeing on this thread and reminiscing of those early years. Enjoy them as much as you can. And a good bargain is a good bargain. A few more pages and you can talk me into buying a velvetiser!

Carrie76 · 23/10/2020 16:05

Does anyone know wear vans? My niece is a 5 in Nike and 5.5 in Adidas I’ve found a bargainous pair of vans in a 5, not sure if they’ll fit Confused

RenardeRenarde · 23/10/2020 16:11

Vans are fairly generous, I suspect a 5 will fit just fine!

Hophop26 · 23/10/2020 16:56

I live in my vans and particularly as they are a comfy not tight fit, I wear a 5 and am a 5 in Nike too

Bsgetty · 23/10/2020 17:07

Not a bargain, but if anyone else has been stalking the lovely advent calendar from the Range mentioned a few threads ago, they’re finally in stock online. Thanks @MaudHatter, I love them!

Next step is to find things to put in it. My daughter is obsessed with Mentos - does anyone know of anywhere where you can buy all the different flavours (including the obscure ones like choco caramel, tropical etc) in individual packets (or even better, individual sweets)? I’d like to put in one a day but include all the flavours, but I can only find most of them in eg bags of 5 packs.

FeltCarrot · 23/10/2020 17:13

Being the selfish creature I am, I took a hit for everyone who has bought a velvetiser and tried mine this afternoon. I can confirm it was delicious! There might be none left for Christmas. 😮😂😂

Xmaspartyanimal · 23/10/2020 17:14

If anyone has a spare Argos code I will be very grateful!

thelegohooverer · 23/10/2020 17:20

@Anydreamwilldo12 thanks for the guide dog link. That couldn’t be more perfect for someone on my list!
