Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

It may be worth hanging on until Black Friday or amazons Black Friday week now for the barbie camper, last year I missed out on earlier reductions on it but then managed to get it for £43 during Amazon’s Black Friday week

I’m pretty sure when It reduced last year it was for a day or two so wasn’t just a 5 minute reduction.

Hophop26 · 22/10/2020 23:30

Are there any Matalan codes around for more than 10% off, I seem to completely miss them!

Rockhopper81 · 23/10/2020 00:09

@Justyou - I have OK Play and we really like it! I've played it with my 6 and 10 year old nephews, and with adults - it's very simple, but there's an element of strategy too (especially with older children/adults) in terms of where to go next. In fact, my 2.5 year old niece managed to beat her brothers as she was just putting her squares in a line when it was her turn, whereas they were so focussed on their 'strategies' that they paid no attention to what she was doing!

I'd definitely recommend - you can buy an add on 'kit' of another two colours (red and yellow) to allow six to play (assuming you still can). Smile

Duckyneedsaclean · 23/10/2020 00:32

Thanks @borris used the boden code Smile

@justyou we have Okplay - it's great fun and everyone we've played with has enjoyed it.

Erm..
not sure how to put this, but I just want to warn people really. I clicked on an Amazon link posted on this thread (or one of the earlier ones) and forgot about it. The tab was just left open on my browser, lost amongst many and easily done. I’m not going to say what the product was, or who posted it but it was a very popular, innocuous item, just not for me. Anyhoo..
I clicked on the tab again earlier this evening, with my entire young family in the room and happened to scroll right down this time because I wanted to look on Amazon anyway. Yep. Really graphic, (and questionable) porn. On Amazon. Really, really graphic and niche🤢. Luckily none of my children saw but I let my youngest DC use my iPad regularly so I’m going to close all links I follow from here immediately from now on. I didn’t even know Amazon sold this sort of thing. Name changed for this as l don’t want to be blamed for bringing the spirit of the thread down. I’m a very long time user and definitely not a pervy, goady troll.
Happy bargain hunting everyone

slithytoveisascientist · 23/10/2020 00:43

Amazon sellers have been hacked before to have their pictures changed so it might not be genuine
Certainly not the norm

myhobbyisouting · 23/10/2020 01:07

I take it you've told amazon? It's rare, I'm on there all the time, never seen any porn before

BeaLola · 23/10/2020 01:36

OhMyGoodness

thaegumathteth · 23/10/2020 01:57

Has anyone seen a white choc Lindt advent calendar. I'm not sure they exist but dd has asked for one!

wibdib · 23/10/2020 02:10

Costco have had lovely cosy cushions for the past few years and cheap - about a tenner.

Ds2 has snagged mine so was planning on getting them one each bit as dh was shielding, haven’t ventured out to Costco to see if they have them this year. Knowing my luck they will but the price will have doubled as that’s happened to loads of things I’ve gone back to get more of the next year! And they don’t seem to have them on the website either....

Vebrithien · 23/10/2020 02:36

@thaegumathteth

Has anyone seen a white choc Lindt advent calendar. I'm not sure they exist but dd has asked for one!
If you can get to a Lindt shop, they do a fill your own Lindor advent calendar, for £12. You could pick all white boules, and a white chocolate bar?
thaegumathteth · 23/10/2020 02:44

That's such a good idea but we don't have one near us unfortunately. Part of me thinks dd knows this doesn't exist and that's why she's chosen it because tbh she's that kind of child

Givealittlebit · 23/10/2020 02:49

Arghh I dropped off the thread for a bit as life for busy, but now panicking that I need to crack on for my brother and sister so I'm back and on the hunt!

Trumpton · 23/10/2020 04:14

@thaegumathteth
Lindt UK do a pick and mix service . You could get 500gms of balls ( about 40) say 350gms ( 28) for your dd and the rest for you .
Then put hers into a wooden or fabric calendar .
Just a thought .

IggyAce · 23/10/2020 05:32

@Junobug I’ve ordered those for dh and I recently got an email to say that they are changing the packaging on them so that they are more environmentally friendly and apologising for using plastic.
