Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@PocoyoandEllie I have pm’d you

IggyAce · 21/10/2020 21:18

@nicky2512 6 yr will be 5-6 and 7yr will be 6-7 so for a 6 year old I’d order 7yr. I haven’t ordered young kids clothes for several years but they were always true to size.

HulahoopsBBQbeef · 21/10/2020 21:20

@nicky2512 I would size up for most Boden clothes. I’ve found they tend to be on the smaller size.

Asj0405 · 21/10/2020 21:22

Adidas code wouldn't work so I'm guessing someone has used but if anyone else has one they won't use I would very much appreciate it, thanks.

nicky2512 · 21/10/2020 21:22

IggyAce thanks very much. Will go for 7 then. I suppose better bit big than too small!

aimslou · 21/10/2020 21:23

I've just done an Argos order, I entered the £7 off code first and that went through, so thought I would try the £5 off to see if I could use both and it worked!! Couldn't believe it! I got £12 off my order!

Courtney555 · 21/10/2020 21:23

A few threads back, people were talking about a really beautiful jigsaw...can anyone tell me what that was please? My nan loves them, would make a great present for her

TheGriffle · 21/10/2020 21:27

@Courtney555 I’ve attached a pic As I use the app but it’s from amazon.

@Nicky2512 Definitely size up on Boden snug fit pjs, especially if the child isn't super slim. My 7yr wears 9y and they are getting tight!

nicky2512 · 21/10/2020 21:32

HulahoopsBBQbeef Thank you. Have gone bigger.

nicky2512 · 21/10/2020 21:35

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile. Thank you.
My husband is amazed. I was dithering over what size and said someone on Mumsnet will know!

I love this thread. You are all so helpful. I don’t get out much in real life any more and it does mean a lot!

Carrie76 · 21/10/2020 21:36

@Asj0405 just pm’d you

Are they single use only? Or shareable?
thelegohooverer · 21/10/2020 21:48

@NoWordForFluffy and @Reastie the last time I bought anything from Iwoot was blendergate so I don’t know how I forgot who I was dealing with 😂 I probably should be more worried about my failing memory being a sign of early dementia.

aimslou · 21/10/2020 21:53

@TheDrsDocMartens I'm not sure x

Elphaba17 · 21/10/2020 21:57

Where is everyone getting the argos codes from? I'm after a £5 off one if possible as I have a basket worth almost £40 here but as none of it is on offer I am reluctant to check out!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/10/2020 22:06

@aimslou, I'm gutted I didn't do that on my Argos order! 🤦‍♀️

Theonlyoneiknow · 21/10/2020 22:23

Hi guys out of interest did anyone buy the lego technic transporter on prime day? I was just wondering.how low.the price went? Many thanks !

duckduckswan · 21/10/2020 22:47

I didn’t think I needed anything from Matalan but now I find I do!! Are there any discount codes available? Thanks

TildaTurnip · 21/10/2020 22:53

@Queuing4Fergs

Not a bargain but more of a grumble Blush

I went to Saunsburys yesterday to take advantage of the 25% off Tu offer, hoping to get some Xmas pj's or jumpers for my two DS. They had girls' stuff but nothing for boys. Even the normal clothes were utterly depressing - all grey, khaki and black. Life is depressing enough!

I spoke to an assistant there who said perhaps the boys' stuff just hadn't come in yet (in which case grrrr given the discount) and to check online. So I did. No boys stuff on there either.

Is this just my sainsburys? It's usually pretty good. Has anyone seen anything in their local stores?

I went in to try and get a coat for my almost 6 year old. None in his size and only a few grey puffer coats and one black one in other sizes. Hardly any hoodies/jumpers and of the three there were, none in his size. Lots of grey/black/dirge colour jeans and some long sleeved dark T-shirts and that was it. Same as online. It’s not that they’d sold out of it all either, there doesn’t seem to be anything really out at the moment.
ShoppingBasket · 21/10/2020 22:57

HP whomping willow on amazon for £45

thaegumathteth · 21/10/2020 23:50

I almost ordered a load of stuff from IWOOT the other day then vaguely remembered something on here about the CS. Shame they haven't improved any.

thaegumathteth · 21/10/2020 23:55

This might be a bit weird but it's a gift I personally would like. A wee cafe in the highlands has had a rubbish time with covid and has closed their cafe and diversified. One of the things they're doing is mail order - there's bakery goods and coffee and stuff but also there's an option for a 12 week bread subscription delivered to your door. Their bread is amazing! I think it's £2.80-3.40 a week . I haven't signed up but think I will. We've had other stuff like their shortbread delivered before. Am thinking of getting it for my mum too who can't get out much now and doesn't live nearby:

here

Tommyegansghoul · 22/10/2020 01:06

Does anyone have molten brown code by any chance? Would greatly appreciate x

XFPW · 22/10/2020 05:47

@thaegumathteth sorry to say that I’m pretty sure the bread subscription is collection or local delivery only from Mountain Cafe. A friend shared that on fb the other day but she lives locally and there were various disappointed comments from friends in Aberdeen who couldn’t avail of it.
