Crazy, MM and everyone missing their family.
DH doesn't want us seeing DMIL in case DS catches coronavirus from school and passes it to her. I am seriously considering taking him out of school a week early, so we can quarantine for 2 weeks and he can spend Christmas with one of his grandparents at least.
DParents are in a bubble with DSis as they help with DN, and she (and DN and DBIL) will be moving in with them a couple of days before Christmas so she doesn't need to spend the Christmas/New Year season in hospital (pregnancy related, can't remember if I've bored you all with that story already). So, anyway, we won't be able to spend Christmas with my family other than possibly a brief, outside and socially distanced visit
This will be the first year I haven't spent at least part of Christmas Day with them, ever, and DParents are missing their granddaughter's first Christmas
DH is getting a travel mug with inbuilt coffee press (which I've already given him, to bolster him through the sleepless nights), the coffees off the bargain thread, and yard of Oreos, and then a stocking full of sweets, because all he wants is a new graphics card and it isn't available yet. Usually he buys anything he needs, so I don't stress about getting him presents, but I want DS & DD to get him something.
