Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I've tried searching but can't find it. Was there a Thomas trackmaster set on offer somewhere please? Does anyone know if these can be used without batteries as well please?

BunnyBerries · 09/10/2020 17:01

I have made my own 'DIY deal' that may help for a gift or for entertaining! Grin

Triple up £7 of Tesco vouchers to £21 with Denby (Google Tesco Denby - voucher is instant) and make up a full set of 4 x Nesting Bowls for £21.40 (which are 50-60% off) on the Denby site in the different colours and sizes of the 'Always Entertaining Deli' range. (Check stock before converting!)

Nesting bowls** in stock

  • Heritage Orchard (small) green
  • Heritage Pavilion (medium) blue
  • Heritage Veranda (large) yellow
  • Heritage Piazza (extra large) pink

I found these ones in stock so I think it is the only way to do it (but you can substitute large or XL with Heritage Terrace). They won't be gift boxed, but the gift boxed sets of the same colour are £50!

Basically just pay 40p + postage (or £21.40 + postage if you have no Tesco vouchers).Smile

Smafolk Advent Surprise Box Eur53 down from Eur134

www.smafolk.dk/en/advent-surprise-bag/c-73?fbclid=IwAR1fHo-_fM5fwz6-HD2qCyPaJ_0kUk70ftODNam3oIswo5mB1fgHNI2lGfA

I had some lovely items in this last year for DD2. It’s pot luck but there’s an active Facebook Smafolk selling page so I am happy to take the risk some of the items might not be to my taste. You get 4-6 items at approx. 1/3 of retail price.
Last year we got 2 gorgeous dresses, two long sleeve tops and a skirt. We had some penguin and deer prints included so very festive!

Brogues · 09/10/2020 17:06

I did similar with the small rectangular platters and matching mugs last year @BunnyBerries

I’d heartily recommend Denby granite effect pans too. Finally got the casserole dish using Denby vouchers this week! Cast aluminium so super light but works on induction hobs.

Thanks for the heads up re the Quidco Fifa deal, it has saved my DS some pennies as he has been saving up for it. With our order we received a single use code for 20 % off a full priced replica football top from Sports Direct They don't stock DS's team so if you can definitely make use of it let me know and I'll PM it. Please only ask if you will use it as it is a one off and will be wasted if it's not used.

I've also got the Candy Kittens today and the hedgehog house looks a great idea for my mum, as one has started paying her a visit lately, so thank you.

BunnyBerries · 09/10/2020 17:21

@Brogues
I love the colours so much! Brighten my day!
Love that Tesco allow the triple ups Star

NotEnoughTime · 09/10/2020 17:24

I hope you don't mind me putting this Daily Mail link on here and it may not even be the same Hedgehog House but just in case......

Thanks for the warning NotEnoughTime you dont sound like Scrooge at all.

pasinphoebe · 09/10/2020 17:32

@IggyAce agree the bird feeders would be good. I saw a post from wildlife trust the other day saying they were trying to
Get the hedgehog houses recalled - apparently spikes can tangle / catch in the weave and hedgehogs are stuck and starve to death Shock I was shocked as they looked lovely

thaegumathteth · 09/10/2020 17:43

@lurleene if available I'd use it please Football

NotEnoughTime · 09/10/2020 17:44

Thank you Lurleene-I promise that my next post will be a festive one and keeping in the spirit of this lovely thread Smile

Bluewavescrashing · 09/10/2020 17:47

The sanctuary spa set looks a bargain but the sizes of the products are quite tiny, 75ml so just be aware if you're buying. I think the photos try to make them look bigger than they are.

suneetime · 09/10/2020 17:49

@Spam88 here's what the coffee looks like. Branded tissue covering over the packs of coffee. Two of my bags are dated Aug '21, and the others are Nov and Dec '21. Individual bags are Feb '21.

diplodocusinermine · 09/10/2020 17:49

If anyone goes to Costco they had the Roux cinnamon bun kits without the tins - 4 packs in a box, enough for 40 buns for about a fiver. I would have bought some but BIWI’s low carb boot camp starts on Monday Hmm Grin.

FireflyGirl · 09/10/2020 17:50

@Spam88 - it's all loose in there, so you could arrange it however you like. The sticker keeping it closed easily comes off and goes back on.

I have one bag dated Aug 21, one dated Nov 21, and two dated Dec 21.

thelegohooverer · 09/10/2020 17:55

Thanks for the hedgehog house warning. I was considering one for my db’s garden.

thelegohooverer · 09/10/2020 18:07

Has anyone in RoI got a H&M discount or was that just a U.K. offer? I have a basket to check out and I’m getting stroppy at the thoughts of missing a bargain Grin

@BunnyBerries I’ve just used your Tesco Denby combo. What a great deal! I’ll put a ribbon round as part of mum’s present. She’ll love it. Thank you.

@CoffeeAndEnnui whoop I’m glad you bank with Santander so it actually was useful for you!

My fake oodie arrived today. It’s a bit on the thin side but will do for me.

thelegohooverer · 09/10/2020 18:24

Did anyone else order the super Mario Lego and t shirt deal from iwoot? I’ve received the T-shirt but no sign of the Lego and customer services have sent an impenetrable reply that leaves me no wiser.
Somehow I had forgotten how awful their customer service is.

myhobbyisouting · 09/10/2020 18:25

IWOOT jumpers are here....hmm, the scooby one is about 2 sizes bigger than the mario one despite both claiming to be the same.

Think I'll be complaining because they smell strange too

I got the little handheld retro game thing @Dottyday posted earlier. It has good reviews and with the 15% voucher applied it was £11

DarkHumour · 09/10/2020 18:27

@ thelegohooverer
I received both the Mario Lego and t shirt in the same package.
