No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.
Hopefully we can get ideas from each other.

The new Lego Ghostbusters car for dh, it's double points weekend for vip members, plus I receive a free Lego Charles Dickens scene, win win!
A couple of days ago I ordered quite a bit from the Australia Zoo online shop for dd as they had free worldwide shipping!

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 21/11/2020 13:09

A Georg Jensen gold plated candelabra. It will sit on the window sill in the dining room.❤️

What else...

A set of outdoor cluster fairy lights for the front of our house.
A set of jewelled fairy lights on a copper wire, for the living room.

A notebook and pen for each of my daughters.

Ginger spiced tea, Christmas spiced hot chocolate, two latté glasses, a boxed tea selection, a glass infuser mug, and some strawberry shortbread biscuits.

Wherearefoxssocks · 21/11/2020 13:21

A stand mixer for my DB who is suddenly obsessed with baking. It was £29 reduced from £50 in the Black Friday sale. Happy with that!

Some touchscreen gloves for DP. He's nearly done now. Just need some whisky miniatures, chocolate and something from DS. A mug maybe?

AnotherOne4 · 21/11/2020 19:59

@SpamIAm

Snowman hot chocolate bombs Chocolate coins, Santas and snowmen for stocking. Christmas tumblers.
Where did you get the Snowman hot chocolate bombs from???
Equimum · 21/11/2020 20:12

I ordered a gift box of Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs, which were in a BF deal on Amazon. As lively as they look packaged, I will split them between my son’s stockings and keep the odd for myself.

I've already done a fair bit of my shopping but did a final few boys today:
Falke slipper socks for my parents
A good bottle of calvados for my Dad
Estée Lauder Youth Dew and chocolate Marzipan for my Mum
Annuals for my nieces and nephews

Ellapaella · 21/11/2020 20:43

Oh and just ordered FatFace pyjamas for my step daughter

SpamIAm · 21/11/2020 23:01

@AnotherOne4 Snowmen were from Home Bargains. I've been trying to get them for weeks but they've all been broken previously. Aldi also have some apparently.

Butterflyfluff · 21/11/2020 23:07

I’m fascinated to know where you put all this stuff @OohKittens

There’s 64 posts from you on here, most containing lots of items - you must have bought hundreds of things already

I’ve got about 20 things and have run out of places to put them! 😂

OohKittens · 21/11/2020 23:18

Blush oh my goodness I buy such a lot, half of what I've bought isn't even on here. I had an awful childhood so I over compensate for that in everything single way concerning the children, apart from school they are never away from me and I do spoil them it's true It's wrong I know and I was due to start counselling this year. We have no friends or family so the children get from nobody else. The kids each have large bedrooms. Sorry if I have made anyone feel bad that wasn't my intention, I started the thread just to see what others were buying and to get ideas.

Sorry @OohKittens, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. It’s entirely your choice what you buy for your children

I’m just genuinely fascinated to know where you put it all, outside of sight of little eyes, as I’m stumped for places!

Holothane · 21/11/2020 23:28

I’ve loved this thread lots of nice ideas,

OohKittens · 21/11/2020 23:37

That's ok you didn't, I'm more thinking I may upset someone. It's all in bin bags up the attic, I'm caught up with wrapping the majority. We get the bags down on christmas even afternoon when the children walk the cat and it all fills a spare room at the back of the house which is not used. Everything is timed so well to make it work.

My nephew loves trains so I bought him a London Underground duvet cover, fleece blanket, light, cushion, book and a huge toblerone. I've decided each day to completely finish each person's presents because it's helping me be more organised!

PinkJam · 22/11/2020 07:47

@Holothane Agreed, I’ve got lots of inspiration from this thread Smile

Mrsfussypants1 · 22/11/2020 07:50
