No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.

I bought a Christmas card for DH on Etsy. I planned to go to a card shop but its cold, its wet, the shop is probably crammed and we only have chain card shops in my town.

I also had an order of Whittakers vegan chocolates.

I sent the Bloom and Wild December pick as a Christmas present for my Aunty. Also an M&S treat bag for my cousin and her DC.

Had a bit of a twitch. The 'Trubbish' pokemon plush I'd ordered DS came and is enormous! I've now ordered DD an Animal Crossing KK Slider plush!

I also went a local small market town today. Got a few bits in the market - giant lollies and mini drinks can to go in the DC's stockings. Some crisps and nuts for Christmas. Some pretty gift bags and boxes and some crackers with whistles in them! Then I went in the large charity shop on the square. I got a 'Christmas fun and games' box with a cd with Christmas quizzes and kareoke and various other card based games. My DC will love the quizzes especially! We have a Christmas quiz book and they get me to do them a quiz every evening after their story!! Think we'll have run out of questions by Christmas day so this can step in! Also got my DP a black hooded jacket and nice jumper. And I'm not sure why...I impulse bought a Poirot mystery jigsaw. I think it's cause my DP's always used to watch Poirot. The thing is I've never done jigsaws so a 750 piece jigsaw with no picture to follow...may be a bit challenging!😂 Plus I have nowhere to do a jigsaw - especially one that will probably take me years!! I mean what do people do that do jigsaws - do you have a special jigsaw table or do you just eat your dinner on your jigsaw?!

@UndertheCedartree You can buy roll mats for the jigsaw and then store it easier while it’s still in progress.

A silver puffer, cds and a sheepskin padding for bed to ease my hips.
