No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.

A toiletry bag set for my nephew. An Air Wick Mulled wine candle and tealights for me! Some selection boxes for the bags we are making for the homeless. Then got abused by a homeless woman at the bus stop who called me all the names under the sun and kicked my shopping bag! She asked me for change and I said 'I really don't think I have a lot but I'll have a look' - I only had 50p so I offered it to her. She said 'Please, I want to get something to eat!' I offered her my uneaten packaged sandwich and explained I couldn't go and buy her something from the shop as my bus was literally due. I always try and help the homeless so it did seem very unfair (obviously she's not to know that!) But I guess she was having a bad day.

Xmas crafts to do - paperchains, orange slices and bells to make tags/ tree decs (all Poundland/home bargains)
2 Xmas days out - there's a Christmas light trail and a breakfast brunch with Santa

From B&M 2 x tube stacks of pot noodles (£5)
Im really excited about giving these as gifts, one is for DH and the tube is roughly the same size as his main gift, a certain golf club, so im looking forward to him thinking that's what it is, and then pulling the golf club out. Plus he hasn't had a pot noodle for years so handy snacks while he binge watches Netflix while i work throughout Christmas.
