Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I'm late to the party wait the spicery but just thinking it might work for my 10yr old daughter who is getting into cooking. Can someone please explain what the bargain is and what the code does? I've had a look on the site and I'm no wiser, though may be missing the obvious

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/10/2020 06:50

I didn't add my referral code when I posted the deal but I have now if someone would be so. Kind to use it as I need more spices

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/10/2020 06:54

Restless it is a kit of 4 mixed spices with a recipe book. The single kit is discounteb there are bigger discount for multi buy. The referral code gives you a further 10℅ off and the other person account credit.

The currys are delicious and the team on Bristol lovely when I've asked advice on meals. You just replace the spices through out the year. They also do a news letter and recipe of the month.

PhantomErik · 01/10/2020 07:17

My music box says dispatched & due 7th - 16th Oct so keeping my fingers crossed all is well!

IveBeenGood · 01/10/2020 07:24

@whoknows1230 I received the free beer52 deal and paid £5.95 postage. I called to cancel yesterday and they were lovely. They actually mentioned that the offer I had ordered meant I received £8 credit and two additional free beers for a future order and they have an Oktoberfest box for a October. So I decided to go for it and have that coming at the end of the month, all in for £16 - this is for 10 beers. I will definitely be cancelling after that, but seemed a decent offer, just from a call - and I can make beer hampers out of it.

Restlessinthenorth · 01/10/2020 07:26

Thank you @lifelongfrugaleer this sounds good! I'll take a look

Elskerdeg · 01/10/2020 07:27

Big banner advert at the top of this page for me says 20% off everything at peacocks with the code TREAT20
They have some Christmas jumpers etc in, but I couldn't see anything that I'd buy.

Elskerdeg · 01/10/2020 07:30

Also if you are on vodaphone, this skin cream seems like a nice FREE stocking filler

WickedEmoji · 01/10/2020 07:36

I cannot get the spicery codes to work? The IAMLEGEND one or any of the referrals on the referral thread?

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2020 07:38

Are you putting them in the right box, @WickedEmoji? I think there's a voucher box or a code box. Let me check!

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2020 07:42

IAMLEGEND works for me. A referral code would go in the same box. Your order has to be over £20.00 to use either.

Code 19804 gets 20% off at the body shop. Minus advent calenders! I just cannot get the website to allow me to click and collect. I'm obviously doing something wrong Sad

UselessInDisguise · 01/10/2020 08:11

Oh, I've done it now, must be a glitch as it was the ginger shampoo that stopped it being click and collect eligible despite it being in stock in store. Nevermind!

IggyAce · 01/10/2020 08:11

Build a bear have upto 40% off selected lines.

doadeer · 01/10/2020 08:24

@DumplingsAndStew apologies I thought this was transparent saying I'd love you to check this out.

It is my store, not hiding anything.

spub · 01/10/2020 08:39

Thanks for all the chat, tips and bargains! Love this thread each year. Not a bargain as such but 02 priority have an instant win thing for customers for another couple of days. I just won a bee bomb which could be a nice wee stocking filler. Not sure what the other prizes are but free stuff is not to be sniffed at! Smile

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 01/10/2020 08:40

SAVEMORE GIVES YOU £10 OFF £60 OR £20 off £100 at the elc

Onelittlepiglet · 01/10/2020 08:48

Sorry to ask on the thread but has anyone who had an issue with Royal Mail not delivering their John Lewis Lego parcels got either the parcel or a refund? Mine was ‘returned to sender’ although not by me, and I’ve not received it or a refund (I don’t want a refund I want the item though!).

I think it was @Cakestandkitchen On the previous thread who said it was an error and the parcel would be delivered so I just wondered if it had?

BuffyFairy · 01/10/2020 08:49

De-lurking now my DD’s birthday is done and I can concentrate on Xmas.

Has anyone else managed to get the GLAMADOR928 code to work on the glitter tattoo set pp posted earlier up thread. It looks a really nice set and one is on my list for DD.

Someone was asking about cheese boxes / hampers. I’ve seen Pong cheese recommended on here. Got my pasta from the pasta Evangelists’s deal (thanks for that! Out of Gins but got 2 cocktails instead). Code from them for 50# off your first pong cheese box PASTA50. Valid until 31/12/21. Boxes are shipped on the Wed following the order date. No idea how easy it is to cancel a subscription with them.

My Flip cards arrived from onbuy. Quality seems ok, box is fine and cards wrapped. Fine for a stocking filler.

Also big thanks for the Penhagligon tip off and codes. Their website is so awful and I nearly lost the will but persevered! Amazing bargain.

JinglesWish · 01/10/2020 08:52

Thanks to the PP who mentioned the hot choc/marshmallow snowmen at Aldi. Popped in yesterday to get some for Christmas Eve. £1.99 each, so cheaper (and cuter) than the JL hot choc bombes (3 for £10)

The Entertainer have the same offer on as ELC, save £10 on £50 or £20 on £100. Free delivery over £50.

JinglesWish · 01/10/2020 09:05

The new Lego:Ikea collaboration gets released in store today (online from 15th October). 4 different sizes of Lego storage boxes and a Lego set. They’ve designed them so that the box also becomes part of building/play. The biggest box is £15 and the 200-piece Lego set is the same price.
