Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Somebody on the last thread asked about dolls house furniture for their DD. I'm a grown ass woman with a Georgian mansion doll house and I recently splurged on the sale here:

Furniture

Also, Argos have two very child friendly dollhouse accessory sets but it may be area dependant. One is for £15 and the other is £20 but when bought together make a lovely fairly substantial gift. www.argos.co.uk/search/doll-house-accessories/?clickOrigin=searchbar:search:term:doll+house+accessories

@Sunshineskies I’ve given hampers in tin buckets before. They went down really well as it’s always handy to have a bucket 😃

@Cosmia

Long time lurker who is currently sitting in her fake oodie (£16.99 from Amazon and very thick and snug), can't thank you all enough for so many brilliant ideas. I'm on a mission to find shark bath bombs for DS - the gruesome ones where they have red in their mouth so they fizz "blood" into the bath. I can only find them for £5.99+, just wondered if anyone had come across cheaper ones?
Cosmia I've just ordered dc the shark attack one I think you are referring to (soul and soap). More than I was planning on spending but I know they will really like them and great for their stocking. Treated myself to some too.
lifelongfrugaleer · 30/09/2020 19:25

The curry kits are included in the deal too on the Spicery. Best present for myself last year

1122christy · 30/09/2020 19:27

@Luxplus is it student only?

thelegohooverer · 30/09/2020 19:27

I stupidly showed dd the Harry Potter funky pop advent calendar when she would have been perfectly happy with the Lego one. Do you think there’s any chance of a discount?

Connellschain · 30/09/2020 19:27

@Friedbanana and @Crispsginchoc - warning! Boring post alert!! On the £1.50 charge - it may be that you unknowingly bought the item from a seller outside Europe on what’s known as Delivery at Place (DAP) Incoterm which makes you “The Buyer” responsible for import duty. Royal Mail possibly covered the import duty for you To clear goods and now Royal Mail are looking for this import duty cost to be repaid by you before releasing goods.
Or it could be something a little less random.
Told you it was boring....

Notlongnow1 · 30/09/2020 19:27

@Friedbanana I got the same today. Strange! Our unos have already arrived so not that but also it is in my 5 year olds name. Nhs might makes sense 🤔 only thing usually addressed to him is magazine subscription but that has never been an issue.

Dreamingofwalden · 30/09/2020 19:39

@NoWordForFluffy

Try IAMLEGEND on The Spicery. It used to give 10% off.
It does stack! Curry kit, Taco kit and a calendar for £43.20 - I’m chuffed. Thank you!
Yeknom · 30/09/2020 19:40

@Notlongnow1 it might be regarding the school flu jab!! My daughter got a letter yesterday regarding it - didn't have to pay but was addressed to her!

Yeknom · 30/09/2020 19:41

Oooh and huge thank you for the ice cream cart again. I had buyers remorse for not getting it the last two times - finally purchased and now I'm pretty much done for the kids! So a big Christmas thanks!

@Luxplus is this in store? I can't see it on my app 🙈

Borders biscuits £1 on amazon prime. Good for a hamper! Or just to eat in secret like a ninja so you don't have to share. Wink

Mumofboys1317 · 30/09/2020 19:49

Apologies if this has been mentioned previously.

I just downloaded the Boots photo app and used code welcome10 for 10% off my first order. Just ordered my little one personalised pairs which he will love.

Luxplus · 30/09/2020 19:56

The code for the discount on H&M is NEUC9

Crispsginchoc · 30/09/2020 19:59

Connellschain Thank you for your reply Smile Not boring at all! Oops Blush I didn’t know that about DAP and it would make sense. Feel an idiot for not knowing! I’ll keep that in mind when buying stuff from outside Europe in future.

Luxplus · 30/09/2020 20:00

I try again sorry The code for the discount on H&M is NEUC95

Cosmia · 30/09/2020 20:04

Brilliant - thanks so much for the shark tips, a shoal of them are now on their way!
